Service was excellent but the salad I had was a bag salad with very few pieces of lettuce, big chunks of cabbage, no asparagus, no seeds... our waitress was the best though. My sons steak was good too

I ordered the Millers Poutine & would NOT recommend it. It looks like it was scooped up from a garbage can - a conglomeration of a lot of different foods piled up. And it wasn't very tasty. The others at our table enjoyed their meal & the view, wait staff and decor are all worth the trip.

We love staying at sawmill and even when we don't we often stop in for dinner. Jessica is normally our server by random and she is wonderful and very attentive we love her and the service she provides for us and the way it makes us appreciate the restaurant and resort.

We had a total of 10 people wanting to eat together and was denied since we did not have a reservation. Could not make it online either without splitting up the group which we did. The 4 top was seated first (7 pm) and when the 6 were seated it was a booth which was then changed to a 10 top. Why could we not have had that in the first place? No other large groups came in. Also we ate there Friday night and the food was much better. On Saturday night, the chips for the dips were hard and could not be eaten well. The Ruben sandwich had the wrong bread on it. Not good Saturday night will all that happened.

Lots going on in the bar with the noise which doesn't give the rest of dinner service booths & tables their privacy. It was pretty slow at the time we had dinner and I thought the staff service could've been much better. Had to ask for stuff.

If I could give them higher stars I would! We were looking for new places to try and I found this on google. They were running a great special that I will picture down below for $59! If you see this in time I strongly suggest heading there before March 15th and trying for yourself! It’s a real steal! The food was perfection the service was wonderful I cannot say enough good things! We will be returning! I recommend the filet and walleye!
