Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Fast service.
In town on business and was looking for a good local cafe, so checked out Babe’s. Service was friendly and quick. The avocado toast is amazing! Sat on the patio and enjoyed a refreshing start to my morning.
The service was great and I had the best Lemon square and cinnamon roll muffins. Can’t wait to go back and try some more.
Babe's café has such a pleasant aroma and a plethora of coffee/tea/pastry options to satiate your sweet treat and coffee needs...If you're looking for a bite to eat, the food is good too. Can't recall the menu items but I know there's a tasty homemade peanut butter which goes great with their breads/sandwiches. Pretty sure there's an avocado toast-like option as well. Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options, like the veggie sandwich, pbj.. Actually I think most of the food items are vegetarian.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.
Parking: Usually the 6 or so spots in front of Babes are full but the larger lot a bit further away is big and open
This place is never open during their posted hours. I didn’t find it necessary to go into great detail about my experiences, but since someone responded with a passive-aggressive paragraph I will. I tried visiting around 6 months ago on a Saturday. I arrived at 10:48 unaware that they closed at 11:00. When I walked in someone told me they were closing so I politely left and thought I’ll come back another time. I tried visiting around 9:30 this past Tuesday to try the place out. This time the restaurant was closed with nobody there. I don’t know about you, but in 2023 it isn’t standard operating procedure to call every coffee shop before visiting to check and make sure there aren’t some outstanding circumstances preventing them from being open. Rather than taking the time to jab at customers and write a lengthy response, the ownership should spend that time to update their google page to reflect current hours of operation. I feel this is a better use of time and effort.
Everything about this place is fantastic! They are so nice and friendly, they made us feel like regulars even though we have never been. The food was phenomenal, I can't recommend this place enough!
Vegetarian options: Lots of baked goods and vegetarian options available.
What a great time we had at babes. Babe was a wonderful host and made me and my wife feel so welcome and comfortable during our visit. She talked to us about the history of the establishment and then informed us of any specials recommending her favourite suggestions. The sandwich’s are made fresh and hot, the soups are amazing too and the coffee, just perfect. I would definitely recommend this cute little place and it’ll soon become one of your favourite spots for sure
Small local business, closes early (chk.)Everything delicious! Break, brunch.Fabulous sweets and coffee drinks!Right in shopping ctr by Independence water tower, on Brecksville Rd.
Nice little coffee shop+ in the middle of town. Friendly staff. Clean. It's fun seeing the early morning coffee clutch debating the big issues on my way to work. Very reasonably priced cup of coffee. I recommend the "red eye" with one of the flavors of the day.
Stopped at this place during a long road trip. Seriously, awesome local coffee shop. Feels cozy and friendly. Delicious lattes and breakfast items. Will have to try the donuts next time we pass through town.

Delicious food! Love the breakfast. Donuts, breakfast wraps, and sandwiches. Love the watermelon slice you get with breakfast!
This little cafe tucked into a plaza in Independence is a real gem. Plenty of seating, both tables and comfortable spots. Their donuts are def the main draw. My sour cream donut was heavenly! The black iced coffee was average. The egg bake was also average. If I come back, I’ll order two donuts! Check this place out.

Met babe and the gang today! They were so fun and personable. The team seems to really enjoy working together which really adds to the experience. On top of that the Mediterranean wrap and iced coffee was delicious. Definitely coming back!
I was visiting the area from Tennessee and searched online for a good coffee shop nearby - I had the Serengeti coffee and a pastry for breakfast and the Caesar salad with grilled chicken for lunch on the same day - Friday. My mom accompanied me - she had the same breakfast (she ordered 2 pastries) - we both enjoyed our food and the experience so much that we returned again the following Monday for breakfast.
