We were celebrating our Anniversary and decided on Delmonico's. So glad that we did! We were greeted was warmly and taken to our table. Our server Melody was amazing! I have some dietary concerns and she even went to talk to the chef to make sure that my meal would be safe for me to eat. She made sure that our first experience there was perfect and it was! The steak was seasoned well and tender. One of the best we have had. We tried the chocolate torte for dessert and it was amazing as well! We will definitely be back! Thank you!
Ordered the NY Strip and my BF ordered the Steak Christopher. His steak was very good. Mine, however, was the most fatty NY Strip I've ever had. It was beyond the amount of fat you'd expect from that cut of steak. Every bite I literally had to grab napkins because the grizzle could not be chewed. I could only eat 1/3 of the steak and half of that I had to spit into a napkin lest I swallowed it and choked. Don't waste your money on the NY Strip.

My husband's steak was tough in the middle but tender on the outside. My brussel sprouts were missing ingredients that the waitress didn't ask to be removed. I had to send them back to get the correct order. They weren't cooked how they normally are. We were wondering if they'd changed cooks because we were just there 2 months ago and everything was great. We won't be coming back and this was our favorite restaurant to go to for birthdays and our anniversary 😞

Wedding anniversary for my wife and I. I've dined at restaurants in all the big cities when I was traveling for business. Vegas, Chicago New York, Dallas, San Francisco, LA...the dining experience at Delmonico's in Independence is easily as good as any of those restaurant towns. Best restaurant in Cleveland? No doubt. Best steakhouse in the Midwest? I think so.
