Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

So I'm not going to say too much really bad about this place because I do like the food but there is something about the smell every time I come in here it's disgusting It smells like mold or mildew or dirty mop water or something it's gross and every time I come in here it's getting worse and worse I don't think I'm going to get the company It makes me sick

Mad love burger was amazing!!! Our server Tony was great kept fries and drinks full the entire time.

*bathroom was disgusting but everything else was 10/10

We had a party of 12. Our server was great but as with most places, they are short staffed, so our server was running like crazy. My 3 stars are for Red Robin not keeping up with renovating and cleanliness. After a while chains like this that don’t keep on top of things, they end up like an old dirty Perkins or iHop. I wasn’t expecting that with this one in Independence considering the location but it doesn’t look like they are doing much for upkeep. Sadly. Idk why, they seem busy the times we’ve gone in. It’s not my choice to go, it was family. But if up to me I’d choose another place.

Food is always good. Had a problem one time with a to go order but it was fixed right away, besides that everything has been perfect every time. Prices are decent for the amount of food you get. Customer service is great also.

Disappointing today. Each round of bottomless fries for our party of seven had some fries fresh and hot and some Luke warm. Three of us ordered beer and all three (different brands) were warmer than any beer should be.

Walked in to a strong dirty-mop smell—please change the mop head. Two hostesses looked at us and said nothing; we waited about two minutes to be acknowledged. Our bar server was excellent, but the kitchen didn’t follow through: fries and burgers arrived ice-cold. The manager said they had a large catering order—that was the excuse—but it doesn’t justify serving cold food. The meal was comped, but that doesn’t excuse it. We love coming to Red Robin as my wife and I both have gluten issues and Red Robin has always been very accommodating for this! This particular visit included a good friend who not only has a gluten problem, but a severe Dairy Allergy. While the server was very apologetic for not having heard her properly when her burger came out with cheese, we could audibly hear the taller line cook with the “A” tattoo on his neck make several comments regarding her/her allergy being crazy.

We were unbelievably disappointed to see that they simply scraped the cheese off of the burger and flip it so we couldn’t tell. I’m grateful she noticed the small bit of cheese that had rubbed on the bun enough to take apart the burger to see much more cheese still on the bottom.

The server and the manager removed the meal from the bill without us asking and got an entirely new burger made (which my wife grabbed anyway; I had no intention of taking it with us), but it was still very discouraging to see the kitchen staff seem so ignorant regarding an allergy.

The salads were amazing and fresh with all the dressing you could add.
But then of course there came the strawberry peach shake that was beyond repose. There was even leftovers and they gave it to us in the steel shaking cup.
A wonderful meal with great service even though it was busy.

The service was horrible I sat down at 8:06pm, my drink order wasn’t taken or food order till 8:17, then my drinks never came out and it was just waters. They finally came out at about 8:30. I’m very upset about this and do not plan on coming back she’s a short tiny Women with brown hair and brown eyes and I never got her name. She’s bartending and serving and took almost 25 minutes to get sat and greeted and drinks. This was such a horrible experience. I couldn’t be more disappointed.I sat at table 96. Her name was Megan. I refuse to come back and get this horrible service I even had to ask another server for our servers name. I even watched another table sit there for about 25 minutes before even being greeted.
