One of our favorites. The food is consistently simple and tasty, and the service is usually very good. Prices have gone up quite a bit, so we don't go as much as we'd otherwise like to. It isn't haute cuisine, just good home cuisine.

Hubby had the fish sandwich last month & said it was good. So we stopped in to get it again. This time it was way too crispy for him so he didn't like it, but I'm OK with extra crispy. Not sure I'd get it again though. They charged me 99c to add cheese to it! We added the soup & salad bar to it. Veggie soup was good. Rest of the bar looked old & not fresh. So I don't think it was worth the extra $5.99. Also had sweet potato fries & they were good. Dirty tables everywhere & the waitress was nice & friendly, but never took 1 dirty plate from our table the entire time.

Myself and two friends had lunch here and were amazed by the quality of the food for the price.. the wait staff were nice and attentive. The food arrived in a timely manner and was hot.

We really enjoyed eating at Frisch's Big Boy. I must say the food wasn't the best. The buns were really dry and fell apart. The fries were greasy. I will go back because everything else was good. Our service was great.

Lead shift working who checked us out, was extremely rude, even yelled at my wife when we asked for someone to come to check out so we could pay. Yelled with hostility, I’m coming ..Sweetheart!” across the room. NEVER WILL BE BACK!
