The Shakery: Eats & Treats

I’ve been going here since I was little. The food is amazing, truly; a classic piece to Ironton. They’re always busy because they’re just that good. Their milkshakes are awesome. My current favorite ice cream is their new Blue Merle and I’m crossing my fingers that they never get rid of it. 💙

Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time our drink only order took over 10 mins, but today we sat in our spot waiting for our order for over 30 minutes! If I hadn’t already paid we would have definitely left. 😞 We used to love the Shakery.

The service has been terribly slow lately, but today was the worst it's ever been. We called in our order and it was supposed to be ready when we got there. It wasn't even busy and we still had to sit for 10 minutes. I don't recommend coming here if you're in a hurry.

We go there all the time and the food is the absolute best and the workers are amazing and are very kind and respectful

Famous for their hotdog sauce & hand-made ice-cream. A local favorite and awlays busy. Staffed mostly by teenagers so remember to be patient.

Parking: Parling can be limited at peak business times, drive through can also be congested.

As far as food goes, the variety and quality is better than most bespoke restaurants that I’ve been too. Fish tail sandwich and grilled chicken sub sandwiched; a very balanced, flavorful and hearty one.

This visit I was off daydreaming after the manager promptly took more order. As far as service goes, he is friendly. But out of nowhere three smiling staff offered my two hounds pup cups. Stout-hearted pup cups the size of a child’s sundae!

It was as though they read my mind that it’s Mr. John Doe’s birthday!

Always liked the carhop playlist.

Vegetarian options: The apps section offers a variety of ovo-lacto vegetarian choices. Salads, grilled cheese and possibly the veg soup have possibilities for vegetarians surprisingly

Great place to eat. The food is good! I had a salad and a fruit parfait. Went to work got salad out for dinner and no chicken! I called them they told me to come get a new one. I took the salad with no chicken back to their store and they fix me a new one. It's the one in picture.. it's worth the money. Very good salad at a good price.very nice employees. Make sure if you get the grilled chicken Salad you check to make sure the chicken is in the box! I have had this happen 3 times! I don't understand how you forget the chicken but it is what it is! Best salad I have had around Ironton!!
