Bartender won't accept your vertical license even if it says in big bold letters that you are no longer under 21. Manager also won't answer any questions about this issue on the phone and will instead hang up on you multiple times. Have fun guys, happy new years!!!

Friends recommended this place to me while I’m in town. We’ve been trying to go for the last few nights around 11:30pm-12 as one of them doesn’t get off work until late. They’re always closed despite the hours posted saying they’re open. Safe to say I’ll never be back because who knows if they’ll even be open.

Not very busy during lunch time. My husband and I came and ate here when I picked him up from work after coming home from out of town. They have a nice menu to choose from. I absolutely LOVE the beer cheese and the burgers are so great and well cooked

The Laidback in Ironton, OH is located on the bank of the Ohio River. Ironton is a place where almost all roads that lead there have a lot of curves. The curves made The Laidback a biker destination point to rest, eat, and have fun with live entertainment.The place got new ownership in 2020 and everything was remodeled and upgraded. The new owner did a fantastic job at every level. Great food, incredible location on the river with camping availability. Outdoor bandstand with a spacious covered seating area. They also changed the culture of the place just being a biker bar. It's still a great place for bikers but now it's a great place for the family. However, good common sense has to be applied when you bring children. This is a live entertainment bar and the evening hours are more suited for adults.It's a great place to add to your list of fun and interesting places to visit. The only reason I give 4 stars is because it took about 40 minutes for our food to come out and we arrived when they open at noon. The delay could have been we were the first ones there and they were still prepping the kitchen. But considering we were the first orders in the wait was a bit long.Kid-friendliness: It's a live entertainment bar at night and adult orientated in the evenings.Parking: The bike-only parking is gravel so use caution.
