When I shop in Andover, I take a field trip to Byler’s. First, I order a freshly made deli sandwich. While they’re making it, I grab a basket, meander around the store a buy something new or unusual each time. All of their refrigerated pre-made salads are tasty, such as the potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw. There are many fresh and frozen goodies i plan to try next. They offer many different flours, sugars, sprinkles, spices, bulk foods, candies, and some very flavorful...
My wife and I absolutely love coming here for just about every grocery need you have. Excellent homemade food from meats and breads, to pastries to doughnuts. One our favorites is the ham or egg salad in the grocery cases. We buy some of that homemade bread and we have a picnic! Store is always so clean, and the employees so helpful, and courteous. If you are in the neighborhood, stop in. For a small place it is well organized, plus you can get a fresh sandwich made at the deli.
I always go there for lunch meat. The fry pies are wonderful. My favorites are lemon and cherry. Never had one until I stopped in.
