“My boyfriend and I were in here a couple weeks ago, everything was great, food was amazing! We both had the pulled pork Mac and cheese, and the brisket rolls, which were also amazing, that is actually the first time I’ve had brisket.. This was my very first time in this restaurant also and I was beyond impressed… the server was very helpful and friendly. Especially when we told her it was our first time in there..she told us about entrees and what she recommended.. just a great experience all around.. Thank you! I wish EVERY place was like that!”

“Pizza was nice and fresh. The hot bbq boneless wings had amazing flavor. My wife doesn’t drink alcohol but made the mistake of ordering a hard seltzer. Our server fixed it for her quickly, even though it was our mistake. Everytime we come the service is consistent as well as the food. Will be a place we frequent as it gets warm to enjoy the outside seating.

“Absolute gem in the tiny town of Hayesville! We stopped by to check this place out as we were driving through. Very cool, unique store with awesome selections of beers and wines. We each tried a sandwich at the deli, both were amazing and very reasonably priced. Stop in and check this place out, especially for lunch! They even have a nice sit down area inside and outside to enjoy your food. Looking forward to coming back!”

“Tried this on a recommendation and will definitely be back! I love Mexican food but this place has unique options in addition to the standards. Their guacamole is the best I’ve ever had, the chipotle shrimp was perfectly done and my husband’s barbacoa tacos were delicious. The rice side (that I never bother to eat anywhere else) was great. Their refried beans were even good! Our server had several tables and juggled them all like a champ. It’s hard to find good servers and this guy was doing the work of at least 2 people - he was tipped accordingly. Our bill was under $40 and, for the quality of food we had, was a total bargain.”

Delivery guy was great as well. Had lots of compliments on he pizza by out of town guests as well. would totally recommend again. ps- the chicken bacon ranch pizza was awesome.”

“I grew up in Ashland. Class of '69 from AHS. In high school we used to cruise around A&W, Red Barn, Dari Dolli across the street. After a bit of cruising. We'd meet classmates and friends at A&W have coneys & root beer floats. It was owned by local family for decades. I was told by family in Ashland, that it finally sold to someone outside the family. But that they sold the original recipes. I don't live in Ashland anymore. Live an hour north. But when I am in Ashland my very first stop is to go to A& W. Close to closing time for the winter is get a couple gallons of root beer and about a dozen footlong conveys. Take then all apart, freeze them. Then enjoy them in winter. Not quite as good a fresh but still great. A&W is a great place to frequent if local. And a great place for tourists. it has been in the same location for over 54 year. Great fun and even better food. It really is a part of Ashland's history. Love the place. Trudy Metzger-Kearns”

“Was just treated to their Pizza for the first time and it’s the best! Perfect Pep and Bacon 8” pizza! Lots of bacon!”

“We were there with about 15+ total of my family over the weekend, and we were SO impressed by everything about this place. The food was incredible, the service was outstanding, and they accommodated our large group so well! My personal favorite touches were that the food was brought out promptly, and there was constantly someone coming to our table to fill our water glasses or take our dishes as soon as they were empty. The food I got was incredible, and I highly recommend the Karen sushi roll. To die for! I wish I lived in Ashland, because I would be there all the time! Thank you so much for everything!”

“Dairy Bar is my cute little “greasy spoon” staple place to eat in Ashland. It’s the place where I take any out-of-town friends to, so that they can have awesome diner food and wonderful prices. The staff is fantastic, and I love feeling like a “regular” every time my husband and I come in, because they remember our order every time. It is a wonderful and comfortable casual place to grab a bite.”
