Pizza and salad were good. However the calzone and bread sticks not so much. Could definitely make better at home.

It actually smells like someone cooking home made pizza. Very nice little place. Great pizza 😋

Pizza was great. Cheesy bread was underwhelming. Pic on menu showed fresh dough bread but cheese covered sub bun is what was served

Came here immediately after a disappointing experience at Plaza Pizza. Family is now very happy with a much better cheese stick option and a great cheese pizza. The cinnamon apple dessert pizza is superb, too, just be cautious of the sweetness.

Great food with great prices and friendly
First time here. Friendly staff and an older but clean business, parking is a small issue. Pizza was a NY Style - thin crust and fresh tasting delight. Definitely will be back.

1st time trying Bavellies pizza, absolutely love it. Best crust I have ever had.
Last night’s dinner: 10 out of 10 would absolutely order again. My husband and I have gotten carry out multiple times from Bavellie’s, and it has been very consistent and good every time. I don’t quite understand any of the negative or bad reviews on here-if you order the food online you have options to customize your food order however you like! You can customize to lightly done/regular bake/well done, light sauce/extra sauce/regular sauce, etc. I’ve found a regular bake and regular sauce is exactly what I like on my pizza-it has a nice crisp to the edges and the perfect amount of sauce. All of the specialty pizzas I’ve tried have been really good-the Hawaiian, the veggie, and the triple meat pizza are delicious and have a great amount of toppings. We always get an Italian sub too! Honestly I prefer this pizza to any of the other pizza options in Johnstown-I won’t name names but I’ve been disappointed by other places here that people allegedly love. I would go here before any of the other options in town *for sure*
They are open for dinner only which hasn’t been an issue for me-generally if I want this type of food, I want it for dinner and they do open at 4:30 which is a reasonable time to open for dinner service. We’ll be back again!

1st time trying Bavellie's. Not too impressed. We got a large Pepperoni and Mushroom--Pizza was floppy and undercooked, VERY salty (not sure if it was the pepperoni, or the sauce), and just didn't taste that great. Looking at the pictures of their pizzas on their Facebook site, I assumed it would be similar---a slightly thicker crust. Ours was paper thin and crispy on the crust edge, but sloppy thin on the rest of the slice. I know this is a matter of opinion, but it doesn't stand up to the other places in town that are much better (Pizza Villa, Uncle Johnnies, Dirko's). I ordered delivery, and I literally took only 15 minutes after I hung up the phone to my doorbell ringing.....seems like they had something pre-made possibly....how do you make, cook, and deliver in less than 15 minutes? I guess that explains why it was undercooked. We also ordered the garlic bread with cheese---at least THAT was great! Sorry to say, we'll probably not be ordering from Bavellie's again.
