I found slimy brown gel objects in my chicken and broccoli, that appeared to be the sauce that had gelled up. Didn’t see it until it was already in my mouth 🤮 but looks like I’ll be going to New Albany for Chinese for now on.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Absolutely the worst attempt at Chinese food I've ever had in my life. The general tsos was rubbery, my rangoons tasted like old oil. And they are so archaic in their payment processing, they don't even take tap to pay!!!

Food really not very good and very inconsistent!, the place is a joke the worst Chinese food I've ever had. White rice Is good and that's it. We tried to order that and they were out, Way before closing time, what kind of Chinese place runs out of rice? Never go back for nothing but I will spread the word how bad they suck.

Good Chinese takeout in Johnstown
We got the General Tso's combo and the shrimp with veggies combo, both with pork fried rice. It was an easy tasty dinner — thanks
I recently had the opportunity to dine at Dragon China Restaurant in Johnstown, Ohio, and while my experience with the food was largely positive, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the establishment.
Upon entering Dragon China, I was immediately greeted by the enticing aroma of authentic Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with traditional decor that added to the overall charm of the restaurant. Despite the slightly dated furnishings, the place had a character that hinted at its long-standing presence in the community.
The menu was extensive, featuring a wide variety of dishes, from classic favorites like General Tso's Chicken and Kung Pao Shrimp to more unique options that showcased regional specialties. I decided to start my meal with the Hot and Sour Soup, which was rich and flavorful, with the perfect balance of spice and tang. It was a comforting way to begin the meal and set high expectations for what was to come.
For my main course, I opted for the Mongolian Beef, while my dining companion chose the Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Mongolian Beef was tender and perfectly cooked, with a generous portion of green onions and a savory sauce that was both sweet and slightly spicy. It was served with a side of steamed rice that complemented the dish beautifully. My companion's Sweet and Sour Chicken was equally impressive, with crispy battered chicken pieces bathed in a vibrant, tangy sauce that was a delightful contrast to the fried rice it came with.
While the food was undoubtedly the highlight of the visit, I couldn’t help but notice the cleanliness of the restaurant, which left much to be desired. As I looked around, I observed that some tables were not adequately cleaned after previous diners, and there were crumbs and spills that seemed to have been overlooked. The floors appeared to need a thorough sweeping, and the restrooms, while functional, could benefit from more frequent cleaning and maintenance.
This lack of attention to cleanliness was concerning, especially in a restaurant setting where hygiene is paramount. It created an uneasy feeling, as I found myself more focused on the cleanliness issues than fully enjoying the wonderful flavors of the food. While I understand that restaurants can get busy, a consistent effort to maintain cleanliness is essential for creating a pleasant dining experience.
Aside from the cleanliness concerns, the service was commendable. Our server was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our drinks were refilled and checking in on us throughout the meal. The food was served promptly, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful suggestions when we were deciding what to order.
In summary, Dragon China Restaurant in Johnstown, Ohio, offers delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine that is well worth the visit. The flavors and quality of the food are commendable, making it a great choice for anyone craving Chinese dishes. However, the restaurant needs to improve its cleanliness standards to create a more pleasant dining environment. If you can overlook a few cleanliness issues, you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic meal that showcases the rich flavors of Chinese cooking. I hope to see improvements in this area during my next visit, as I would love to return for another delightful dining experience!

Food was not good and the little girl that waits on you is very unprofessional and unfriendly plus she is about 10 or 12 and she's working at restaurants is that even legal. Children of owner are riding their scooters and bikes all around the lobby while customers are waiting on their food. This is the worse service I have ever received.
Crab ragoons didn't even have 1/2 of a teaspoon of filling, super skimpy. I've ate at Chinese restaurants all across America this was by far the most disappointing. And it was over $7 for 5 tiny ragoons.

Service was really good but the food unfortunately was not. The fried rice was tasteless. And the noodles and general Tso’ chicken was not good either. Spent a lot of money but it unfortunately was not worth it
The fried rice was just brownish rice without anything in it. The crab ragoons were really bad. There was barely any filling and the shell tasted stale.
