I've been to Whit's twice since moving to Johnstown. It's so delicious!! I had a seasonal flavored custard in a waffle cone the first time. Maybe pecan toffee? Delicious!! Second time was a coney dog. It was really good! The sauce is a bit sweet, but it was good. I'll be back!
There used to be a fast service, but lately, they have become so slow and seemingly disorganized. However, it's still worth the wait if you have patience. It must be a new crew, as the prior crew had it together. There used to be a sense of urgency to make it happen when a line was waiting. I'll still tip them, hoping that doesn't encourage them to move even slower.
The ice cream was DA BOMB!!! And it is also a romantic place to go on for a date!
