Thanks for the GREAT food at Down the Block! We were on a cross-country road trip and were starving for healthy food. We loved the salad and Mimi's Meatballs and appreciated the friendly atmosphere!

The food was fabulous! The flavor and freshness can't be beat! Got to meet Frank, the owner. He was in the kitchen. Asked him what to order and got the Mimi Meatballs, made from scratch, so good! And the Breaded Chicken Focaccia!!! Oh my gosh! SO GOOD! I don't usually order breaded chicken but this was cooked to perfection, slightly crispy edge, with the tomatoes and balsamic and the focaccia made it perfect. The best bread of this kind I've ever had. Not soggy. Crisp and chewy. You will not be disappointed with that sandwich! Frank said almost everything is made by scratch. And so cool, the young locals stop in for garlic knots after school. Only $.50 for a couple of them and they said they're good.

Good food, especially for a local take out pizza/sandwich spot. Great burgers, wraps, subs. The specials are always above and beyond what you would expect. The owners are awesome people, too!

Cant say enough good things about this place! The adorable woman in the front always has great suggestions and is so friendly! I've tried many different items and all have been amazing. Usually I pick one item at a place and stick to it but this place always has incredible specials that I can't help but dream about!

The place is great! The owner is always happy and smiling. Staff greets everyone and food has always been delicious. Grabbed food, mostly to go, since the place opened and its definitely worth trying. They have a larger menu with different options. You can only get so far with the atmosphere given the building and 3 tables for a quick eat, but it's always clean. If you're looking for more of a bar / sit down, this isn't it, but food is worth it!
