The original Mexican “hole in the wall” restaurant. I remember when it was literally the only Mexican restaurant in the area, circa 1980. Decent quality, tasty, very reasonably priced Mexican plates. Service is usually excellent. We love the burritos which are simple. No corn salsa, no overstuffed mountains, just beef or beans with cheese. Also don’t miss their chips and queso, very unique. Not a fan of their homemade salsa but everything else there is solid, reliable comfort food! They are changing hands after something like 35 years being family run, so get there now and fingers crossed new owners keep the recipes and menu!

El Carlos is a must go to when in Lake Milton, Ohio. My favorite is the Chile con Queso cheese dip appetizer! Our lunch was served hot and with a smile. The restaurant is clean.... ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been eating here since 1983...this is the best Tex-Mex..in our area..chips are great..question is awesome...the yellow melt cheese rules...nice atmosphere..the one waitress has been there forever..it is my best..

Foods bad. Baddd. Tasted like everything was store bought and not a good store. Sauce or whatever that was on the fajitas is just baddd. Waitress was nice margarita was good. Bathroom stalls didn't have locks and smelled like dirty vj in the womens bathroom.

Awful. It made me wish I had covid so that I couldn't taste the food that actually had flavor. The queso tasted like a warmed up sharp cheddar cheese brick from the dollar store. The quesadilla was one tortilla, shredded *negative flavor* chicken, then another tortilla with the melted cheese ON TOP of the top tortilla. I'm not sure what convinced these people that they could cook mexican food but I learned how to make an actual quesadilla in my middle school cooking class. It is not hard. The salsa, if you can even call it that, was diced tomatoes and water. The seafood tacos were IMITATION CRAB! Like the kind you get in the cold section of Walmart. My mom got the fried chicken... She is the only one that could stomach her food. Wish I could give negative stars.
