Was in the area and asked my patient what’s a good local spot to pick up lunch ! They recommended here , great fish sandwich and onion rings ! Will probably stop in again next Friday !
They only had one server working, and they weren't super busy when we went in. They have a leak in the roof, and it was dripping out of one of ceiling vents. We moved tables because of it. The fried chicken was pretty good, and I got fries with mine. The food was hot and fresh. We thought the menu prices were kind of expensive for what it was.
This used to be a good spot around the lake but our last few meals here (2023/24) have just been bad. The “Big Fish” was a small thin fish with extra, extra breading. So much so that there was zero fish 5” long. Fries portion was very small and cold the last two orders (especially compared to a few years ago). Love what they did with outside seating but they tend to be understaffed for weekend dinner time. However, breakfast is still pretty good and normally staffed...
