After arriving at 1130, we noted that the open signs had not been turned or lights not turned on to show restaurant was open. Waited at window for about 5 minutes without being waited on. Spoke into an open window for assistance, and then was rudely addressed by young women. She quickly became angry and honestly unpleasant, I then asked for a manager to take my order instead. She went and got the manager and I was able to order without further issues. Food was overcooked, slushy was watery and lacked it's flavor, hot dog bun was wet, and the tea was not fresh.
Vegetarian options: A few salad options are on the menu, however portions are small.
Parking: Around 8 parking spaces available. Could create an issue if you found all spaces full, only other available option is next door car wash or parking at gas station across the street.
Kid-friendliness: Area is close to a busy road.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to order window from parking lot, however a large flower box would create an obstacle for a wheelchair or walker.

I’m somewhat of an ice cream connoisseur. L & J’s had fantastic ice cream. I ordered a medium Oreo flurry. It was packed with Oreo bits. Which is always a complaint I have with other ice cream shops.

Horrible service, last few Times we have been here there have been holes in our boxes and barely filled with anything, and we brought it back and they had a attitude from the start and became rude and slamming the windows started yelling at us. Threw us our refund and barbecue sauce on the ground that they literally forgot the first time if you cannot do your job right and not get mad when someone calls you out on what you did wrong then maybe you shouldn’t be working it.

Portions of ice cream are good. Nice little small town shop.
Stopped by here during our day trip around Ohio. They make fried pies to order. I ordered an apple fried pie and it was delicious. My husband got a milkshake and I tried some chocolate hand dipped as they was out of chocolate soft serve. Very good sweets and awesome service.

Great little stop for some old time traditional food. I had a wonderful foot long coney with onions. Seems like forever since I've had one since nobody does them anymore. The waffle cut fries should probably be consumed fresh. My house is 20 minutes away so they were well past their prime by the time I got home. Fortunately, the foot long coney with onions more than made up for it!

My husband and I tried this place out several years ago for the first time and we’ve made it a tradition to grab take-out on our annual Christmas cabin trip every year. This year the food seemed to be a little subpar to previous years. It was edible, but the fried mushrooms were mostly burnt and the subs that we got didn’t seem to have much cheese or really anything other than the meet. We ordered the Philly cheese steak subs that come with mushrooms, onion and peppers and I honestly don’t remember seeing the first mushroom, onion or pepper. Maybe it was just an off day, hopefully next year is better and as we remember. The service was good though, the lady who took our order was attentive and got everything right and the food was done quickly so we didn’t have to wait long.Hoping for a better experience next year!
