L & J's Ice Cream & Pizza

Food tasted fine but service wasn't very good they also forgot both of our drinks we had to remind them about both of them individually also when I buy a burger it is expected that you add ketchup mustard or mayo if requested for free not 25¢ per tiny condiment package imagine ordering a burger and having to pay extra just for a squirt of ketchup. What a business model 🤡 we will not be returning there are too many local spots for it to make sense for us to go here

A little bit of a wait but so worth it for the area

Enjoyed the ice cream after it finally came out. Not sure why it took nearly 10 minutes to dip it. And it's be really helpful if the staff actually knew what each flavor is when asked.

Got 2 milk shakes and it was a small coffee size cup for 10 bucks and try wasn't that good...never again

The food is okay and is priced Right. The young female staff seem not so enthused to be there or friendly for that matter...

Man I try to be positive but this was not a pleasant experience by any stretch of the imagination.

It started with a very very long wait and went completely downhill from there.

I ordered a twist ice cream cone, was handed a bowl of sloppy, messy, unfrozen slop that I guess was ice cream with a waffle cone stuck on the top. The cone had no ice cream inside and was tossed unceremoniously into the trash the rest was consumed but in no manner was enjoyable.

There is no possible way that is even close to what I ordered and completely out of order.

IMHO if someone PAYS you for something and you cannot deliver that product in some manner then you should not be taking money from that individual.

All this and to add the crowing moment I didn't receive a thank you or any apology for serving me a substandard treat.

They definitely know how to make an awesome salad!

We got this to go. But the pizza was great! Stayed nearby in laurelville and picked up pizza on way in for a weekend. The chicken bacon ranch was incredible. The XL fed 3 larger guys which was great!

After arriving at 1130, we noted that the open signs had not been turned or lights not turned on to show restaurant was open. Waited at window for about 5 minutes without being waited on. Spoke into an open window for assistance, and then was rudely addressed by young women. She quickly became angry and honestly unpleasant, I then asked for a manager to take my order instead. She went and got the manager and I was able to order without further issues. Food was overcooked, slushy was watery and lacked it's flavor, hot dog bun was wet, and the tea was not fresh.

Vegetarian options: A few salad options are on the menu, however portions are small.

Parking: Around 8 parking spaces available. Could create an issue if you found all spaces full, only other available option is next door car wash or parking at gas station across the street.

Kid-friendliness: Area is close to a busy road.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to order window from parking lot, however a large flower box would create an obstacle for a wheelchair or walker.

I’m somewhat of an ice cream connoisseur. L & J’s had fantastic ice cream. I ordered a medium Oreo flurry. It was packed with Oreo bits. Which is always a complaint I have with other ice cream shops.
