I was leaving the restaurant with my meal paid for and had to finish my ice cream, i noticed my bill was 41.55 over my limit of money at the time, the manager came up to me and said "dont go out to eat if you cant tip, thats how their bills get paid, this wont pay their bills" i worked at waffle house and can get that feeling but i had apologized to my server prior to him saying that, I had told her i was sorry i couldnt tip her i have a minimum of what i can pay, i had my boyfriend and friend with me and had to pay for their meals too. Please treat your customers better and your staff under a high-stress situation if you want good tips or any at all, that should not be blamed on the customer, i was as respectful as i could be. YOU NEED IMPROVEMENT. And to add to your comment, i did have regards for the server, i said i was sorry to her and i have my own person problems, my age does not matter on my maturity level, this is kind of a bad look for you, i was respectful and was having a good day until you disrespected me and i walked out immediately, have a nice day you rude judgmental restaurant

This establishment constantly berated, humiliated, and on one occasion attacked their old workers. The owner is not to be trusted around their teenage workers, and will take advantage of them one way or another any chance they get. We’ve had multiple people come out and try to give their stories, and the company is trying their hardest to hide it all. Yelling at workers when they need days off to go to funerals, and throwing brownie pans at their workers on one occasion. The owner constantly take week(s) long vacation to Florida, leaves all problems to the teens, then gets angry when they come back to complaints. I’m sure now you can see why they had to shut down their location in Hamilton. They’ll try their hardest to remove this comment with the rest of them, and even respond saying we’re lying or trying to make them look bad, but they’ve been doing this for years and enough is enough. Clearly there’s a problem if a mass of people who used to work at your establishment are suddenly coming out to say how horrible your management was.

The owner is horrible to his underage employees, often takes vacations leaving staff with little to no supplies, actively deletes comments calling out his poor behavior, ignores when employees want to quit because he had a falling out with the manager the 2 week notice was submitted to, throws burnt brownies at employees, refused to enforce a mask mandate at the height of COVID, and will shutdown business with little to no notice for current employees. The abuse he shows his staff is abhorrent, and no one should put a dime in his pocket. There are better restaurants with better people running the place.
I have been going to this place for years. Some of my favorite memories is taking my grandparents here. The food is amazing and the ice cream sundaes. My mom loves their tuna melt sandwich. I love the atmosphere and the service is very attentive. It’s always a tradition to come here at least once a year.

The food was good, the service was great. It was a bit pricy, but welcome to our current economy. Overall, fun place to visit. Picture is the grilled tuna fish with sweet potato fries. The fries were very crispy and tasted great without anything added.

Stopped for ice cream after the parade. Nice ambience and pleasant atmosphere. We had sundae and double ice cream cone. I created my own sundae, which was vanilla ice cream with raspberry sauce and whipped cream. One of the best I ever had anywhere. Add a prompt service, professional staff and a good value, and it makes this place a must stop. We just had ice cream, but food looked very appealing.
