“My family and I were at Leetonia Dairy Queen tonight and it was very busy. I am an empathetic person and I could sense a lot of tension and stress amongst the employees. After we ordered and received our food, we saw a female employee storm out of the kitchen and say “I’m done!” The only two employees left working were very young and customers continued to walk through the doors. The teenage employees were stunned and upset. A couple of minutes later, the male teenage employee sheepishly stood at the cash register and said, “Our manager just walked out and we’re both underage so we have to close. We’re really sorry.” A bunch of us felt very sorry for the kids and went up and gave them extra tips. The teenage boy said, “Is it okay if I cry in front of all of you people?” We all reassured him and the female teenage employee that this was not their fault and that these things happen. They both cried and hugged each other. The boy put a handwritten closed sign on the door and began the process of locking up. One of the customers still inside with us finishing eating went over and hugged him. My 7 and 5 year old kids were watching this whole situation unfold and I was very happy with how the teenagers handled themselves in such a stressful situation and with how all of the people (even ones who were turned away after just having walked in) treated one another with love, kindness, and compassion. Not a single person responded rudely or unkindly. Everyone showed empathy. Kudos to those two teenagers. Experiences like this will serve to make you even stronger and ready to face adversity.”

“Not had anything yet that wasn’t delicious. The frozen cinnamon rolls, the soft serve ice cream (quarts in the freezer) lunch meat and cheese, PIZZA, snacks, the ham salad!! 😊”

“Came here on our 2 day trip to the area and we're very very pleased with how cool this place is. Old fashioned soda bar with a TON of options and very affordable for a fun day excursion. We had the ice cream and soda flight and they were both very fun and delicious. Played some board games while we sat around and chatted too, very fun way to spend an afternoon.”

“We had a fantastic experience at Pondi’s tonight for my bday dinner! Our server Julia was awesome, Chef Heath came out to introduce himself and his entrees were amazing! I ordered the GOAT and a Thai salad. the sandwich was so good and well made. the ingredients were evenly distributed on each bite. very good flavor profile. The salad was so fresh and the balance of savory, sweet and spicy was perfectly done. it so refreshing to have a healthy and fast option that cares about the ingredients and quality of the food they sell.”

“One of the worst dining experience I ever had. The noise from the kitchen was so loud we couldn't even talk. My wife's fish was way over cooked my pork chop was tough that I did not take it home. The price was way to high. I eat out 3or4 times a week and always at finer restaurants I would not ever go back.”

Absolutely delicious concoctions with a wide range of flavors, from fruit forward to straight up dessert in a glass.
