We make an annual trip to this area and have been to this restaurant several times in the past. It has significantly gone downhill from previous experiences. The food wasn't very good and the service was slow and not very attentive. The staff looked to be hustling so it seemed more of an issue of being understaffed than the abilities of our server. The price for the meal was high considering the quality. We will not be going back.
Four meals. One sent back because food was burned. Second was cold but tolerated. Third appeared to lack flavor compared to last visit, but consumed. Last was raw tuna and seemed ok. We set down at 630 and finally got our meals around 745. The manager only charged us for drinks. Bill of $125.00 we left a $75.00 tip. Waitress was excellent but hampered by the kitchen. We will probably return at a later date but the other couple said they lost a customer. Manager was great under the circumstances and very gracious in trying to make us happy.
Terrible. Waited hours for food and finally asked them to cancel order so we could leave. Then food was quickly thrown onto plates and served room temp. Slaw side was floating in the soy cup (for dipping Ahi Tuna). Had a couple of bites but it smelled fishy and gross so didn't eat 95% of it. Still have had a stomach ache most of today (the day after). Bathrooms were dirty with no paper towels. Wait staff was inattentive and never refilled water glasses for well over an hour after we ordered and were not served. Was comp'd for all but wine and appetizers. Left a big tip (probably shouldn't have but didn't want to be a jerk) and won't be returning.
Unsure if our server Madeline was new, but our service was awful. It took 10 minutes to even get her to our table, we never got offered any pretzel bread, we ordered appetizers that never came out. We had to ask the person who brought our entrees and then they brought out our appetizers, halfway through our meal. My husband never got the refill he asked for, nor were we ever offered more water even though all of our water cups were empty. Our table wasn't cleared of plates when we were finished. When she brought out the bill, we were charged for our Thank You bottle, which my husband brought to her attention - to which she responded ‘NOPE!' - when the charge was clearly on there. She brought it back and blamed the computer system with no apology. We love Cooper's Hawk but this was the worst service I've ever experienced at any location and we will not be back.
Food and service were outstanding, as usual. Only complaint was we made reservations for 6:30 PM and did not get seated until 7:05 PM. We watched a quite a few tables emptied, however they didn't seem to be able to bus them quickly enough. Not sure what's the point of making reservations for a listed time on Open table when the fine dining restaurant can't really seat you even within15 minutes. The manager said that they can't control what OpenTable posts for reservations.
Ordinarily, this is a great place with decent service and good food, although a bit too noisy. This time, despite the gallant efforts of our waitress, service was very slow and erratic. A number of patrons were unhappy and a few departed without being served. Something went very wrong.
The food was to die for! The Brussels sprouts for appetizer and the short rib risotto- omg - amazing!! Service was phenomenal!!
We had made a reservation for outdoor seating. It was very busy when we got there and the server mentioned they weren't expecting the patio to be opened (weather wasn't the best). It took a long time for someone to come to our table, we had to ask for pretzel bread when our food came, no one came back to check on us. Food was good though.
Everything went well. Food was awesome. Great service. Celebrated my birthday. Received free truffles for dessert. Drinks were good. No problems.
Despite having a reservation, took an extra 30 minutes to be seated. Food and wine were great! But took a long time as well. Thankfully, we weren't in a hurry and enjoyed each other's company. The restaurant was hopping on a Wednesday night for sure.

I wish I could remember our servers name, but she was the best. The food was great, and they brought out a dessert for my mother's birthday. Small things like that don't go unnoticed. Thank you for making our experience special.
The drinks were generous, and if you're a wine drinker, this is the place for you. The server was prompt and delightful, and the food was delicious and prepared as ordered. However, if you are looking for a nice place to celebrate an anniversary or birthday, this is not the place. It was extremely loud (think school cafeteria-loud) and not conducive to conversation, and the spot-lighting centered over the table gave a glaring police-interrogation ambiance. We were seated so closely to other tables that when the server was assisting the table next to us, her rear end was nearly touching our food.
Always a good place! Ate from the small plates menu, and all our choices looked great and tasted great!
We asked for a booth as we are same sides and like to sit by each other when going out to eat , and they said they would sit us at a half booth because they needed to save there booths for other guests and the table they offered us was a table that was my last choice to have a nice romantic dinner with my husband because I have been seated there before and there is no privacy or ambience at all and everyone going to the bathroom walks by... not where I want to have a nice dinner with my husbands for the price point I'm paying, so I asked for anywhere else possibly different... and there wasn't any other options they could offer , so we went to the bar area to find first available. Then when going to my open table to give my review, it said we are still sitting there dinning in and showed me a completely different order and a bill that wasn't Even ours. We have been members of Cooper's hawk since they opened at liberty center and it's a Monday evening and I had reservations!! Very disappointed in the customer service and honestly, that was just bad!! Not a nice experience!
We celebrated our anniversary with some drinks and dessert. It was nice to relax and sit outside. We had a great experience. Salted Creme Brulee was delicious and the wine was fantastic. My husband got a paloma, which was also very good!
