Stopped off after kings island- about 20 minute drive. This place puts every other Mexican restaurant I've ever been to to SHAME!!! The food was absolutely incredible, the service was phenomenal and it was overall fabulous after a long day. Not super close to home, but would be willing to make the drive to come back.

This El Rancho Grande location is hands down one of the best hidden gems around! Their food is bursting with flavor — it truly feels like Mexican soul food. From the rich, comforting soups to the mouthwatering street tacos and the fried tamales, every dish is made with love and packed with bold, authentic taste.

What really blew me away? My husband, who has never been a fan of Mexican food, is now obsessed. He literally dances with each bite, it’s that good! If that’s not a glowing endorsement, I don’t know what is.

Do yourself a favor and try it. You’ll be hooked after one visit!

Food was good. Have a $10 deal on burrito with drink and chips on Friday.

The first thing is that I live for Mexican food, and this experience was one of the worst I have had. The place was clean and the staff were nice, but the food was awful. This was probably the least Mexican restaurant I have been to. The steak and eggs that I ordered, you did not get to say how you wanted your steak or eggs cooked. The eggs were supposed to be over easy, and just glancing at the photo posted, anyone can tell it is the direct opposite of over easy. Steak was chewy and not appetizing. The rice looked like it was not fresh. There are better Mexican places like Mezuntes, but this was barely food. Nothing against the serving staff, but dont eat here.

Food is always delicious! I love their birra tacos and their nachos. Their margaritas are always tasty. The service is always fast and great. We are regulars here and love every trip. I 10/10 recommend!

Seriously. Not very busy. Waitress too busy talking to the guys at the bar. Missed two different drinks… never checked on us. Will not visit again.

El Rancho Grande delivers a reliably hearty Tex-Mex experience. From the sizzling fajitas, arriving with a flourish of steam, to the generously portioned enchiladas, comfort is the name of the game. The salsa, while mild, possesses a fresh, tomato-forward flavor, and the complimentary chips are consistently warm and crisp.
While not pushing culinary boundaries, El Rancho Grande excels at the classics. The cheese dip, a creamy, melted delight, is a must-order. The service, though occasionally rushed during peak hours, is generally friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, making it a solid choice for a laid-back meal.
The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of familiar dishes. Though some might find the flavors predictable, the quality is consistent. For those seeking a dependable and satisfying Tex-Mex fix, El Rancho Grande is a worthwhile option. It’s a place where you know what to expect, and it delivers.

Went here for a late night dinner on a Friday night and was EXCELLENT, as well as our amazing servers! This place is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, by far one of the most tastiest. The Birria Quesadilla was phenomenal, very tasty, cheesy, has lots of flavor and the meat is very tender. The Esquites had a great balance of spicy and sour, very tasty. The Queso was very tasty and served hot. Service was great by servers. Although the food is pricey, it is very tasty and is worth the money for sure. Would go here again 5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ehh. Food was just ok. Meat was chewy. Steak kinda tased like weird. We actually tried two locations, same issue. Everyone was nice but food just wasn’t very good.

Food as always is high quality and served hot! Only complaint is it's getting more expensive all the time.
