A few weeks ago, we were traveling from Chicago to Naples making a few stops along the way in VA and NC. We stopped for 2 delicious mochas and found some books on my wife's '2nd-hand book list.' We really enjoyed this nice & cozy cafe. It was a great way to start our travel day.

Went here last week, great experience. Hot chocolate was excellent lol. Service was great. Owner was extremely friendly. 100% recommend for anybody looking for a chill spot to hangout and chat.

The menu listed a pour over as an option. The barista had never made one before. After some time of consulting a paper manual, he told me they were out of pour over and I had to pick something else. I chose a cortado, which just tasted like a latte - the ratio of milk to espresso was off. He was friendly, though, and apologetic about being out of pour-over. And while you wait for your drink, there is an attached antique store to browse.

I love the cozy vibe of this coffee shop! Autumn really cares about the quality of her ingredients. Her iced matcha is the best I’ve ever had! Can’t get enough. She also has a wide variety of syrups and offers alternative milk options. We always have a pleasant chat but her customer service went above beyond when she helped me to my car when I had more drinks than I could carry AND offered my pup a pup cup. Thanks Second Look you rock!
