My wife and I came to Hocking Hills from North Central West Virginia for our anniversary.
Simply looked on Google for places to eat and landed on 58 West for dinner.
My wife ordered the ribeye, cooked medium, topped with the cowboy butter.
Fantastic!
I ordered an entree on special, the meatloaf risotto with shrimp and asparagus (I’m definitely butchering the exact name).
Hands down one was one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had in my life.
Chef/GM Alex was nice enough to take time and come shake my hand so I can say thank you.
Cannot recommend this place enough!
You’re doing it right.
Picked up a 10% off appetizer coupon at the welcome center.
Food was ok. I just got a burger with fries. 5 Stars for the great pet friendly patio and our server that brought water in a bowl for our dog. That was fantastic, didn't even have to ask!
I have celiac's disease which makes it very hard to find places to go out to eat that wont make me horribly ill. i am from out of town so i was not familiar with this place but it turned out to be wonderful! our server (i think her name was emma?) was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable about cross contamination. AND I DIDNT GET SICK! the feeling of leaving a restaurant feeling well is not something i take for granted. this may seem dramatic but it's HUGE for me. if im ever in the area again i will be back <3
Sierra is a fabulous server! Pleasant, professional and polite!
Zero idea why this place has only 4.3 stars! Hostess friendly, and waitress was extremely pleasant and friendly, the food should never be questioned by anyone— this was hands down the BEST food I’ve had in ages! Chicken Breast (sandwich) breaded with panko was awesome, the cinnamon butter spread/dip for the multi-colored sweet potato fries (not just boring ol’ ORANGE) was really good, the charcuterie plate (even a cheese with pesto !! ) with the pretzel baked with maybe in garlic butter/salt? WOW 🤯 and then the steak on the arugula and strawberry with goat cheese salad, … seriously, why didn’t we come here long time ago!?? Thank you for a really good meal, totally worth it and literally a couple blocks from downtown Logan here. Outdoor patio seating.
There are 4 of us that gets together once a month for a dinner outing. We decided to get out of Lancaster and head to the hills. 58 West located in Logan was our destination. The restaurant is beautiful, great atmosphere and comfortable. The service was impeccable. The food was outstanding and the beer was unique in flavor and delicious. This restaurant has something for everyone. Highly recommend reservations. Our group put this experience as a top go back, soon!
Holly was our server and she was excellent, attentive, and detail oriented. very friendly and conversational as well when we had questions about the area. my girlfriend and I are from Pennsylvania and we were in town for hiking and such, and so don't know much about the area and took a chance. great spot, quiet and food was fast and Delicious! the porter and peach tea bourbon drink were also unimprovable, they were incredible. 5 stars for 5 star experience.
Stopped in for dinner while in Hocking Hills on a hiking trip! Glad to have received this recommendation! The entire staff was super friendly and welcoming. We had the good fortune of having Elias as our server! He was kind, knowledgeable, attentive and really a highlight of our visit. The food was delicious, everything came out quickly and just right! 58 West is a wonderful open modern atmosphere. We opted to eat indoors but the patio was full of people on a beautiful Spring night. Definitely will look to stop in again when we are hiking in this region next time!

If you don't order their soft pretzels & beer cheese, you're missing out. It's a level up from any other I've ever had. Chloe, our server, rocked her first day! The cocktails were delicious. Great job all around.
Upon arriving at 58 West, a hostess opened the door for us, asked how many in our party, and whether we would like inside or outside seating. We opted for outside and was told Brian would be our waiter. From the get-go, our experience was great! Food, drink, and service were all excellent! My husband especially enjoyed his porter, and I thoroughly enjoyed the pink moscato. We enjoyed it so much, we returned the next day. (We were staying at Hocking Hills Lodge. This restaurant is a bit of a drive from the lodge, but it is well worth it!)
Bryan was absolutely wonderful. He made sure to let us know what was and wasnt GF, and clarified that my partners fries were fried in the same oil as non GF fries. My partner isn't GF, but it means I didnt cross contaminate myself. Plus he was able to explain how a beer cheese soup was GF. Absolutely wonderful
The chef and general manager really takes pride in his work and as a diner, you can really tell. Although the restaurant can be pretty busy, each meal is prepared individually and with fresh ingredients. I have special dietary requirements and the chef happily accommodated my dietary restrictions. The Gorgonzola Alfredo and stake was excellent.
Delicious Lunch. Great service from Brian. We each enjoyed a craft beer, appetizer of loaded potato skins was great. I love Fried Green Tomatoes, so when I read their BLT is made with Fried Green Tomatoes that was my first choice!!! Will try to make this at home now. We have a small Farm in the Thumb of Michigan. We sell a lot of tomatoes. 🍅. I am going to put a sign near the Green Tomatoes that says, fry these up and use in a BLt at our stand at the Port Sanilac Farmer’s Market! Yummm!!😋
