The ambience and service were good. The food was tasteless. The rice was undercooked and the salmon was overcooked with a very bad looking fruit sauce on top. The broccoli had been boiled in water with no salt or seasoning. The potato soup was so thick that it didn't look appetizing. The food was just awful!

4 adults and no one was enjoyed their meal. Only compliment we was that we enjoyed the texture of the fries. The Italian wedding soup was not good & the size/pricing is a joke. My husband ordered a cup & I ordered a bowl. Same size but in two different looking “cups” & mine cost $2 more. The food runner handed them to us & said “cup” of soup for both. I told the waitress mine was supposed to be a bowl she said “that is” in a way that she is often asked. Change it. The soup was also so gross to eat because the noodles were complete mush. Wouldn't eat there again.

For my first experience eating at the restaurant I was very disappointed. The food was less than mediocre. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries and a cup of soup. The chicken and dumpling soup was very thick and all I could taste was the flour they must have used to thicken it. The chicken tenders were burnt and black. It was actually gross to look at. I tried eating some but I had to scrape the coating off because it was burnt to a crisp. The chicken itself was white meat but very tough. I ended up leaving most on my plate. I did try the breakfast the following morning and it was excellent. Waitress was pleasant and waited on us quickly.

Everything was delicious. I had wonderful chicken, green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. Our server was fun and friendly and got everything right. We loved being able to eat at the lodge instead of driving miles away for food that couldn't have been better.

Food was very mediocre and some sides came out cold. Server didn't couldn't even answer questions about the menu and didn't offer us any other drinks but water. Don't need to eat here again.

The food is ok but the service is very slow and haphazard. The food is cold. We had six meals there and was the same experience every time.

$26 for 6 ravioli with 6 shrimp in a SUPER salty sauce was over kill - max should be $18. The $7 side salad that came with bagged croutons and white vinegar was a $5 salad max. Would maybe go back, woukd definitely not order the ravioli again. Husband dad his French dip was good but not $24 worth with the handful of fries it came with.

My steak was not cooked to my order and preference as I stated. The asparagus was crunch. The salad was mostly lettuce and croutons. The water a chlorinated taste. The rolls weren't warm enough to melt my butter. Very expensive for a sub par meal. I don't mind at all paying for great quality. But this was very sad. I won't go back

My wife and I had a very good experience eating dinner at the Rock House Restaurant. We shared a veggy pizza and a side of steamed broccoli, and I had a craft beer and my wife had wine. The pizza was good, my wife called it “above average for a restaurant like this.” The broccoli was very good. The craft beer and wine were also very good. Our waitress was excellent. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

Server Ethan was very courteous. He had a smile on his face and was as helpful as he could, the rest of the staff, including the person who sat us and the bartender. Stephan are extremely rude and have terrible people skills . People pay slot of money to come here. This is a very nice lodge and they should hire better quality people!

Two of us sat for two hours. Our burgers came out raw. The manager had the cook re-do them and they turned out good and by that time we took them back to our room. They did give my partner a free dessert for his birthday that we also took to go. Our server was friendly but not around. They comped our meals so overall not an entire loss but we'll be traveling to Logan or another nearby town to eat for the rest of our trip.

I made reservations over the phone, but arrived early. The hostess said they would be able to seat us in about 10 mins. That was fine, okay with us (1:30 p.m., party of 2). When we came back in 10 mins, the hostess was rude, very short, and we still had to wait another 10 mins. Once seated, we waited about 5 mins before anyone even asked us if we wanted drinks. She did take our order at that time and food came at a reasonable time. Food was very good, but very overpriced. Maybe it is because they were understaffed, but the hostess and our waitress could not even smile during the entire experience. Beautiful atmosphere but due to the prices and the less than friendly staff, we may not be back, at least not to eat. Sorry.

Overall, the food tasted good. However, there wasn't a large selection of options. The staff was friendly. While everything was fine, I do wish it felt a little more casual. If you're looking for some good food while you're staying here definitely check this place out.

We stayed one night at the Hocking Hills Lodge & conference center and this was only restaurant in the area without leaving park. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was good but nothing over the top. We would definitely go back to this hotel again but it is wise to make a reservation since it is the only place to eat in the hotel.

We waited 45 minutes to get our food. My wife's chicken nuggets were way overcooked and even burned on the bottom. My Caesar Salad was fair. I was told the soup of the day was Loaded Potato. The server brought out Broccoli Cheddar and said the soup of the day had changed; I said that was OK since I like Broccoli Cheddar also. We did not complain about the chicken nuggets because it was several minutes before we realized how overcooked they were, and we were interested in getting back to our room to watch our granddaughter play soccer via streaming on my iPad. The food seems quite expensive for what you get.
