Excellent service and good food. My husband had prime rib and I had rosemary chicken. Both were good. Only complaint would be that mashed potatoes were a little cold. Other than that a good experience.
Makayla was our server. She was polite and very knowledgeable of the menu items. Great service. Did was Grade A. Cooked to perfection and more than enough to satisfy the biggest of appetites. The scenery was beautiful by the window looking into the snowy woods. Dining room is beautiful.
We enjoyed our meal (we both had the bean burger, and I also had a side salad and the macaroni and cheese!). The lodge is so cozy that we thought the restaurant would be cozier, but it was just basically a room with tables. Service was slow, but there was a lot of takeout food being ordered through the bar so it was no fault of our waiter. Ethan was great! We enjoyed the restaurant and we'd go back again hopefully on a slower day!
Food was great. Service was excellent. I did feel very badly for the servers. They were completely slammed but they did an excellent job taking care of their tables.
Service was terrible. We waited 15 minutes to be greeted, almost 30 minutes for drinks to be served and were then basically ignored by our server having to flag someone down to ask for basic items like silverware and napkins. Food was fine but two of our items had clearly sat in the kitchen waiting for the other two items and arrived lukewarm and soggy. No need to visit again.
Overpriced but you're paying for the convenience of walking downstairs to a restaurant, so I get it. A little worse than your local Apple Bee's. Our server was fantastic, attentive and friendly.
Great restaurant. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were fantastic. Great ambience. Beautiful view. Friendly staff. Will definitely return.
Unfortunately we had a bad experience from start to finish. We arrived at 5:15pm and the lights went out for 10 minutes. Hard to read the menus. Wasn't busy, maybe 6 other tables being served. After we ordered, the food took an hour to come out. Other tables that came in after us got served. My son ordered his steak medium. It came out cold and rare. We asked to cook it longer and they wanted to charge us for another steak even though my son didn't even take a bite but that was their policy (even if they mess up.) We asked for a manager and he apologized but made excuses saying they are slammed busy. Buuuuut they weren't busy when we ordered. The manager did make my son another steak and made that part right, but it should have never came to that. Unfortunately, the Prime Rib is not very good and that's what me and my wife ate. They charge extra for horseradish sauce too. Our bill was $175. Definitely not worth it. Family of 5. 3 kids. 1 had a kids meal.
The power went out and we could eat there but it was pizza only and we were looking forward to having something else. I can't really give a review due to the power outage
We have been here many times, this was the worse,we waited a long time,we ordered steaks were not cooked correctly. The food was only fair this time.

We loved staying at the Lodge, the restaurant however was good enough it was over priced for what you got. It was just an ok place to dine. Definitely not a grand meal, but very nice ambiance.
Service was average. Drinks came very fast, food not so much. Some food didn't come until some in our group were already done eating. One in our group got the “prime rib,” it was definitely chuck roast and not prime rib. For the price the quality was very poor.
A nice change of pace. Remember to check the hours of operation and have reservations for lunch and dinner. Staff is quite helpful and attentive, as long as coverage is in place. Can be short-staffed at times, though.
The service was very good. The food was only mediocre. Very bland. French onions soup wasn't prepared well.
$4 for coke which is ridiculous. $29 for crab Mac and cheese and there's very little crab, definitely not worth the money.
