Room is nice, good-sized. Bathroom cleaning could be better. Linens are well-used. Housekeeping staff not very friendly. Restaurant requires reservations every day, even though it was nearly empty the day we had dinner there. Kitchen was very slow even without a crowd. Food does not live up to menu hype. Breakfast menu is overpriced.

Great experience. Lodge is well kept and appears to be relatively new. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food selection was limited and no complimentary coffee in the lobby. No coffee until 7am. I don't use the coffee makers in the rooms.

We enjoyed lodge. We enjoyed restaurant 1 night. We had coffee & breakfast sandwiches from snack shop. Rooms very nice & modern. We did turn off heating system at night as fan was very noisy.

Breakfast was mediocre (no reservations) . Dinner was better but reservations are required in advance. Our room sink did not drain well. The room was very nice. Recommend coffee and breakfast at Hocking Hills Inn Emporium.

Beautiful facilty and great location. Lots to do nearby. The staff is great. The only reason for 4 stars is the kitchen is horrible. Takes forever, don't waste your time. Come to find out, after our trip I spoke with someone who went some time ago and they had the same bad experience with the restaurant. They charge too much for not having it together in that aspect. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Great views and workers were all very courteous. The food service is atrocious. Bring as much of your own food as possible. We ordered food twice and waited over an hour each time. Again, don't plan on eating at the lodge. Staff is so nice I don't enjoy criticizing and don't know the root of the problem.
Food and drinks: Awful wait times.

Master beds was comfy, extra room beds were not.
Rooms: Cabin was nice, beds in extra room were not comfortable. AC was very loud at times.
Nearby activities: Hiking options great and activities at lodger were nice.
Safety: Felt safe and plenty of activity around.
Walkability: great access to trails
Food and drinks: Breakfast was good , dinner not great.
Noteworthy details: Both lodge and cabins were nice.

great couples getaway! hiking was stellar and star gazing also. we need a restaurant that is open past 8 pm then I'd give it 5 stars!

The hotel itself is very lovely. We would highly recommend. The only issue we had was the heating unit in our room rattled loud enough to interfere with our sleep at times. We did book a return trip in October. The area is very lovely and a fantastic place to hike.
Nearby activities: There is so much to do and see in the area. A must for hikers!

I don't complain usally I also belive you pay for what you get. I
I just wanna give a honest review. the staff was great. put room wouldn't warm up to 70 cause wing was too cold it stayed 66 to 68 degrees. tub had rust. stainless steel was extremely dirty. have alot of picts. most people that have pool at there house have same size or bigger then there indoor pool. if there's more than 10 people in pool you won't be able to enjoy it. there's around 20 plus chairs or loungers inside. there was nowhere to put our stuff. pool towels isn't even big enough to wrap around the average size person. pop machine and snack machine didn't work that's minor. pool table in too small of a room and hit walls with stick. exercise room had I think 3 total machines and nothing else. alot of trim and windows were dirty. I just would of expected better honstly and bulding be taken care of better being it's not very old. for 280.00 a night I would of rather paid 100 and had bigger pool and better weight room. and warmer room. now the good. the staff was great. food was great. in the summer I thing it would be great to stay there and walk the trails and see the views and walk back to cabin. but these comments arnt to make them look bad. but just to give honsty about pool size. and towel size and etc. I'm aware outside pool is bigger. but inside needs to be bigger when build for guests during winter time as there won't be as much outside to do

No better place in Ohio geography.

The pet friendly cabins have everything you need! A little pricey though for just my dog and me.

We have stayed at all Ohio state park lodges. Hocking Hills Lodge is the most money hungry of them all. Want to use your Golden Buckeye card or get a senior discount? You get only a lower class room with no view or patio. How about a coffee? In room has the typical low class single coffee pod type maker. If you’d like a real cup of coffee, it’ll cost $3+ dollars. All the other parks have free coffee in the lounge. Not Hocking Hills. One chair per room, so as a couple, be prepared for one of you to sit on a bed. Comfort level is “meh” at best. The Top notch working crew was the BEST part of our stay.
Food and drinks: Crazy high priced food as othe lodges. Go to grandma Faye’s grocery.
