Hocking Hills State Park Lodge & Conference Center

The lodge is beautiful! Everything we ate at the restaurant was delicious! The rooms were clean and spacious with wonderful views! Highly recommend!!

Our first visit to this lodge. We stayed for our anniversary. The room was clean and the staff helpful, but the Rock House restaurant was a disappointment. Poor, slow service, overpriced and the food was average at best.

Considering the issues we experienced, the staff did everything in their power to make things right. When we got to our first room, it smell like someone smoked and left the remnants in the trash. That is exactly what happened and once they confirmed, they offered us a 2 day/1 day split in the lodge or 3 straight nights in the cabins. We took the cabins which were great BUT the heat was broken the first night, which was remedied within 8 hours of the front desk being notified. The area is super close to all the trails and the disc golf course there is a must play. The indoor pool was a very pleasant temperature and everything was overall well maintained. It is a bit pricey for the overall experience but not a bad stay. They also have events during the weekend that you can participate in like karaoke, smores night and scavenger hunts throughout the lodge.

I always enjoy a visit to the Hocking Hills lodge as well as exploring around the state park too. Was there for a conference for a few days and everything was great including the food. The trails in behind the state park lodge are awesome too. Highly recommend a visit and for you to take time to explore.

We visited for our 48th Wedding Anniversary. The check in was easy. The staff friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice. We had a king with a balcony. We ate at The Rock House restaurant for dinner. Our server was friendly and attentive. We were given a free dessert to celebrate our Anniversary. We will definitely return to the Lodge.

Beautiful place!

The cabins have been updated and had complete amenities while providing privacy for our family. It was so nice to be able to hike all morning, prepare our own lunch, and then use the resort pool and restaurant for dinner. Do not miss the home-made cookies and scones in the quick service market!

The cabins needed a good dusting. Windows needed cleaned. The cabin was the right size for a family of 4. Great location. The pizza at the Lodge pub was fantastic.

Highly recommend-very friendly staff! Booked rooms for our daughters and their families that had a king bed and bunk beds - loved by all. Not noted on web site but room is cleaned every 3 days. We requested cleaning after day 2 but they never showed up. However, there were pleasant surprises not mentioned on the web site - lots of daily activities, on site pool table and ping pong, supply of puzzles and games.

The management at the front desk was beyond helpful with my reservation!! Thanks so much Ashley!!! And the entire management staff!! I will def book again in the future :)

Our stay was very nice with only one drawback. The resort itself is impressive! There was a lot of parking, the building was modern, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were two adults traveling without children. While we enjoyed the outdoor pool, it was often over run with kids, who were minimally supervised.

Despite the number of guests, our room was quiet. We didn’t hear noise from other rooms or the hallway. The beds were comfy! The shower was a good size and had excellent water pressure.

We booked a patio room so we could sit outside and enjoy the mornings and evenings. The drawback was the cigarette and marijuana smokers who chased us back inside. We weren’t able to relax and enjoy the patio.

Otherwise, I would not hesitate to recommend this resort!

Our stay was lovely aside from the window AC unit in our room that made everything in the room wet and moist. Also, the restaurant’s food was essentially inedible and service was very problematic. We were incredibly disappointed in our dinner experience at the lodge.
