The lodge, including our room, was pristine and every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. Our dinner was very good. Our server was attentive and even though it took a while for our food, we enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be back.

The new lodge is really nice, but the highlite for us was Teri. She was super nice and we loved bumping into her all weekend throughout the lodge. She never stops moving and is a super hard worker, but above all else she is a great person and was fun to talk with.

A fabulous lodge in a spectacular park. Local artists featured throughout. Great food. Solid value.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Gift shop staff member went out his way way direct me to where I could find some items I forgot to bring. Restaurant waiter (Ethan) was very polite and attentive. Great job Hocking Hills staff!

First the most important thing, it's very clean and the bed was comfortable! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool very much and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. The only down side is the restaurant had bad reviews and a couple of guests said it's very overpriced for what you get. We looked at the meal prices and decided to go into Logan for our meals. I think in this economy maybe they should make an adjustment to that if possible, it would be nice to dine onsite.

Beautiful lodge that is wonderfully decorated in warm earth tones. Holiday decor was especially lovely. All areas were clean and well-appointed. Plenty for folks of all ages to do. Nice pools indoor and out (in season). Perfectly located for hiking and sightseeing. Very nice seating areas throughout enhance the relaxed atmosphere. Book well in advance of holidays!! Friendly, helpful staff. Saw many busy, large families but our anniversary weekend was romantic and relaxing for just 2! This location is beautiful in all seasons.

Currently writing this from the lodge that has been experiencing rolling blackouts for the past 5 hours due to issues with power. They stated it was an area wide issue but nothing else in the area has power issues as we had to leave for dinner since the restaurant was closed. Pool was also closed. The rooms are okay except for the fact that the walls are paper thin, the vent blows directly on you in bed and there was an extremely loud almost jet engine like sound that roared outside most of the night. This was our first visit and I will not be returning. They claimed power issues were due to wind, so I would hate to be staying here if an actual storm came through. Power was off for hours in the middle of the night. They did give us a full refund.

I don’t know if I would recommend the Lodge or not. I just arrived. I went into the room and the heat was off. I went to the desk and requested another room. She checked 4 other rooms. They were all off. I can’t have been the only one to check in. Hopefully they turn the heat on for others. I had planned on showering before our reservation at 6 for dinner. So I sat in lobby for 1 1/2 hour. Not a good start😢

Our first visit to this lodge. We stayed for our anniversary. The room was clean and the staff helpful, but the Rock House restaurant was a disappointment. Poor, slow service, overpriced and the food was average at best.

Considering the issues we experienced, the staff did everything in their power to make things right. When we got to our first room, it smell like someone smoked and left the remnants in the trash. That is exactly what happened and once they confirmed, they offered us a 2 day/1 day split in the lodge or 3 straight nights in the cabins. We took the cabins which were great BUT the heat was broken the first night, which was remedied within 8 hours of the front desk being notified. The area is super close to all the trails and the disc golf course there is a must play. The indoor pool was a very pleasant temperature and everything was overall well maintained. It is a bit pricey for the overall experience but not a bad stay. They also have events during the weekend that you can participate in like karaoke, smores night and scavenger hunts throughout the lodge.

I always enjoy a visit to the Hocking Hills lodge as well as exploring around the state park too. Was there for a conference for a few days and everything was great including the food. The trails in behind the state park lodge are awesome too. Highly recommend a visit and for you to take time to explore.
