Found this place a couple years ago while visiting Hocking Hills. Great food, great service, atmosphere and our waitress Holly and owner Chuck made our visit wonderful! Thank you and we will always be back! Highly recommend this place!

We loved the atmosphere and food, service was great. Kitchen was very slow on the day we were there, which was a shame, because we did really like it

Waitresses was rude and food was cold. they messed up a party member order then commenced to barrate the person that ordered it plain .the waitress then send back and slap the cold food again on edge of table then sent another waitress take over while that waitress was at the bar when I was running to restroom, that rude waitress complained to customers at the bar "what do you expect your food to be hot at a bar duh". I will never recommend this place , like the waitress rudely put it " for a bite to eat " I used to love eating there with my family and out of town friends I hope the owner knows the staff is running off customers with attitude and cold wrong orders sad to say my family will not be back worse was we usually spend a hundred or two with our family there eating watching TV and socializing

Found this little hidden gem of a place to eat while we visited Hocking Hills for a much needed get away !!! The food was spot on !!!! Loved the hometown atmosphere !!!! Service was great!!! So glad we chose it !!!!
Food was good but I got there 4 minutes before my group and ordered 3 minutes afterwards. My group has left and I still hadn't gotten my food until 30 minutes afterwards. The tavern bowl is good, but an hour wait time is discrediting.

After visiting Hocking Hills we were looking for a non-chain place to eat.
I had the Country Fried Steak with Peppered Gravy and my husband had the Southwestern Burger. Both were excellent with great prices!

Nice locals place. We didn't have any food, but the menu looked good with low prices! We had four draft beers for $10, regular prices. Everyone was nice, personable, and engaging. We'll be back!

Horrible!!’ 45 minutes for a salad that never came first and never arrived. Go somewhere else if you expect to eat.
Perfect “hometown” spot!
The food was delicious- we are from out of town and came here TWO days in a row and both days were equally great. Both times our waitress was Makiah- she was sweet and friendly, regularly checking on us and making our three boys smile! The animal fries were yummy! Highly recommend!
