after we came here 2 years ago and had prolly the best giant porterhouse steak thst was bigger than our plate and food was all good we decided to come back when we was in area again... will nvr do that again had a party of 10 every person who ordered steak got there food different times and not one single person steak was even warm ... I ordered steak and salmon and my fish came out raw it actually was still cold in. the middle not even cooked at all when I showed the server she said omg and took it back ... kone guy ordered his 35 dollar steak rare and got it well done no pink at all ... absolutely horrible experience .. our server was great she comped us some of the bill to help but honestly I would much rather just pay a 200 dollar dinner bill with good food than have to be unhappy with it .... mind u the place wasnt even busy there was like 3 or so other tables with 2 or 4 ppl ... just amazed how down hill it was from our first trip there

The service was slow (albeit the server was very polite)
I ordered a ribeye with mac n cheese, and a baked potato.
My wife got a sirloin with a baked potato and cottage cheese.
My steak came out cold, as if it had sat for a considerable amount of time, and was cooked to medium well, even though I requested medium rare. It was extremely tough and after two bites I gave up on it. My Mac n cheese came out cold and mushy. The only saving grace to my meal was the baked potato, which tasted like every other baked potato.
My wife’s sirloin was also cold, also overcooked, and also tough. Her cottage cheese was room temp and very watery.
When I addressed my steak and mac n cheese with the server, she offered to remove my meal or remake it. I stated to just remove it (at this point I didn’t trust the cooking). When she gave me the bill she said “I removed the steak and just charged you 3.99 per side” which wasn’t what was stated to me when I addressed my issue with the meal. Ready to leave at this point I just said okay, paid way too much for subpar food, and left.
Would not recommend, and will not be back in the future.

my server was fine, but I waited two hours for my food to come out. And then it came out overcooked. When I spoke to the person in charge. I told her that this was unacceptable and their reply was nothing but excuse excuses. When I returned my food and told them I was leaving. The person in charge then asked me to pay for my drinks while I waited for two hours for my food. Lol I said no, and I left. it was a total waste of my time. I do not recommend it. Other people were having issues themselves while I was there as well.

My daughter brought me to brunch here. I absolutely loved it. It was such a a good experience. Such a good time and not as expensive as either of I thought it would be. We loved our waitress. She was amazing. Definitely stop on in, great food .

Wanted to try for the first time, We both ordered steaks (medium rare) and both of them came out the first time well done. We asked for them to be remade and one of them came back out still RAW. We wanted them to put it back on but apparently they just took it off the bill so we walked out without him eating dinner. And still $40. Highly recommend NOT going here. Edit to add: it should be named jacks Mac and cheese house because that was the only thing that was tolerable.

Have known about this place for quite a while, just never stopped. Labor day evening decided to give it a try. Arrived about 45 minutes before closing time. Was pleasantly greeted and seated. Service was excellent, atmosphere was great, place seems clean and well kept. I ordered a ribeye with shrimp, rice, and cup of potato soup. My meal was very good, only issue was food was not as warm as I thought should be. I will definitely give it another visit.

I am giving at least a 1 star for service. Our waitress was very good and tried to make things right. However, the food was horrible. The Ribeye was very plain with no flavor, they overcooked my husband's to and our waitress was very sweet and made it right, he ordered a reuben which wasn't much better. Very disappointed as we love food and trying new places and we were very excited to try this place after a long day hiking. Its a shame they call themselves a steakhouse.

Had been here twice over the past 5 years when visiting Hocking Hills. Last visit was 3 years ago and loved it. Was very disappointed with dinner tonight. Steak was good, nothing special. The baked potato and baked sweet potato were cooked in a microwave. I asked our server, and she told us it was cooked in a microwave and apologized. Our steamed vegetables were also cooked in the microwave. We won't be back.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and all I got was a piece of chicken on a bun. No lettuce, tomato or even mayo (which is all listed on the menu). My family members got rib eyes because they wanted prime rib which was advertised online and were told they don't have that. Their rib eyes tasted weird. Kind of has a biker bar atmosphere.

Terrible place to eat. Food is trash, you can find better steak in a trash can. service is terrible. We sat and waited for a long time to be served. The manager said she was under staffed and just sat on her phone. Wonder why she’s under staffed a poor server was being treated terrible by the manager. I wouldn’t recommended for any tourist or local.
