My wife and I had a very good experience eating dinner at the Rock House Restaurant. We shared a veggy pizza and a side of steamed broccoli, and I had a craft beer and my wife had wine. The pizza was good, my wife called it “above average for a restaurant like this.” The broccoli was very good. The craft beer and wine were also very good. Our waitress was excellent. Overall, an enjoyable experience.
The staff was outstanding. They were very attentive to all your needs. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. My wife ordered the salmon which was extremely dry. I ordered the Alaskan Pollock which was overbattered and overly salted as were my fries.
We enjoyed being able to eat outside. While our server himself was great. service was very slow. We waited a long time for our beer and then for our pizza. In the end, it was all fine for what it was.
