My family visited Monday for dinner. We were greeted seated away. Our server was very friendly and efficient. We order calamari for an appetizer, lasagna, pesto pasta with shrimp, and spaghetti and meatballs, all served with salad and crusty bread with butter. We all enjoyed our food and the portions were very generous. The prices were consistent with other restaurants in the area, however be aware an extra charge will be added for credit card transactions. This restaurant will be added to our rotations
Did not care for the food. They put a “supplemental fee” on your bill for no reason except to get more money. I didn’t supplement any food or get anything extra.
I am posting this as a regular member of the Logan community and as someone who believes local businesses succeed when they hold themselves to basic standards of professionalism and respect. I recently became aware of a video circulating online that allegedly shows one of your employees, identified as Mylaya Byram, using language that many people reasonably find offensive and degrading toward the LGBTQ community. If the video is authentic, the words used are not only disturbing but completely inconsistent with what many customers expect from a local restaurant they choose to support with their money. Whether this conduct occurred on or off the clock, the reality is that employees represent the businesses they work for. When language that appears openly hostile or discriminatory becomes public and is tied to a business, it reflects directly on that business’s image, values, and leadership. Fair or not, that is how public perception works today. As a customer, I want to feel welcome, respected, and safe when I walk into a restaurant. Many others feel the same way. When an employee is publicly associated with speech that targets or degrades an entire group of people, it makes some customers think twice about whether they want to dine there, recommend the restaurant, or continue supporting it at all. That is not about politics—it is about basic human decency and customer trust. This post is not meant to harass or attack anyone personally. It is meant to bring attention to a serious concern and to ask whether Voltolini’s, as a business, is aware of the situation and how it plans to address it. Silence in situations like this is often interpreted as indifference or tacit approval, even if that is not the intent. Local businesses depend on community goodwill. LGBTQ customers, their families, friends, and allies are part of this community and part of the customer base. Ignoring concerns like this risks alienating people who simply want to enjoy a meal without wondering whether the establishment they are supporting tolerates hateful or demeaning behavior. I believe business owners set the tone. Clear standards, accountability, and a public commitment to respect go a long way toward restoring confidence when issues arise. I hope Voltolini’s leadership takes this matter seriously, looks into it carefully, and communicates openly about what steps are being taken. Many of us want to continue supporting local restaurants. How this situation is handled will say a lot about the values your business stands behind.

We were visiting from Cincinnati. After spending the day hiking for 3 hours, we found this wonderful restaurant serving the best in comfort food to refuel after our hike. The staff is so friendly and especially our server, Bre! She was very attentive and make excellent suggestions. We each had a cocktail, an appetizer, and an entree.
The Spin Dip is served with some delicious flat bread that is reminiscent of deep fried thin pizza crust!! The dip was yummy.
Hubby had the Italian sausage with a side of spaghetti topped with marinara. He said it was good.
I had the chicken carbonara and Bre recommended subbing the penne with cheese tortellini…and it was fabulous! I skipped the soup and salad and went for the garlic asparagus…again… so yummy!
Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is casual and we fit right in with our hiking boots. A little pricy, but what isn’t these days?

Came early on a Saturday after a a day of hiking. Our server Bre was amazing!!! She offered great advice on doing the soup (not the salad as it didn’t look the best) and sub tortellini for the penne on the chicken carbonara. Great advice. The food was very good and the portions were HUGE. A little pricey for a place with such a casual atmosphere but would still highly recommend but definitely ask for Bre!!

Food and service were excellent. The only recommendations I would give is that the lighting was too bright (I felt like I was in a cafeteria instead of an Italian restaurant), and they need to play some Italian music. I could hear all the conversations in the restaurant.

I wouldn't waste my time and money coming here again. We visit hocking hills often and were excited to try something different but were very disappointed. The Italian wedding soup I'm almost positive is Campbell's out of a can and the garlic butter served with the bread is just like what you'd get at Papa John's. We both got the chicken scampi and it was lackluster. The chicken was dry and the noodles seemed like they were heated up leftovers from the previous day. I know this restaurant opened recently and I'm just wondering why even open a new place to have quality this low?

The empty parking lot should have been a good indicator. The empty restaurant with just the sound of people walking around and country music should’ve turned us around. But for whatever reason we decided to give it a shot. The staff is very friendly and service was quick, I’m sure due to the lack of patrons. The soup was decent but a good chunk of the salad you had to cut yourself. The calamari was ok decent but was pretty salty. And ohhhhhh boy the main dishes: I think everything was purchased at the Walmart across the street. My cheese tortellini in cheese basil came on a dish that was hot to the touch but the food itself was lukewarm at best and with cold spots. The almost $40 beef tenderloin medallions were hungry - man tv dinner quality and a fourth of the expected size. It also came with a HEAPING amount of asparagus (about six) that were wrinkled and floppy. I could go on and on about the entrees but I’ve already wasted enough time typing about this place. Although, I do believe I’m putting more effort into this review than they do the dishes. I will say the meatballs were pretty good, although the spaghetti it came with was undercooked. Heck, when they cleaned up our plates prior to giving us the check two of the servers appeared to laugh at the amount of food left on them so I’m sure the quality is well known by all staff. In summary, the food was horrible, the staff was kind, and the awkwardness of the almost dead atmosphere was all consuming. Feels like a crash grab by the Millstone people and the quality definitely backs that up. I hate that I hated it but they got my money so I know I won’t hurt any feelings. I wish I took a picture of each dish we received but we were too busy laughing at it and then sadly ate it. This restaurant was solely created for the people visiting from across the nation chasing Bigfoot in the woods. I apologize in advanced if you dine here prior to reading this review but I’m sure you got your choice of seating.

We decided to try this place out, our expectations were a little higher than your typical Olive Garden restaurant but those weren’t met as soon as we walked through the door.
We were greeted by the smell of what seems to be sewage and two younger hosts that were dressed in casual clothes…nothing wrong with that but on the outside of the restaurant I get a sort of “fancy dining” vibe.
I was confused the first 3 seconds I walked into the door.
There was no wait and we were seated almost immediately, the restaurant wasn’t packed. Only a few other diner which we quickly realized why there wasn’t a full house.
This place gives you “western saloon”, “fancy Italian” and “middle-aged man bar” all in one. The atmosphere is VERY confusing and I’m unsure what they’re wanting their “style” to be.
Anyway, onto the food:
We order the flatbread pizza as an appetizer.
A kids spaghetti with fries and the ravioli with Alfredo sauce.
Pizza flatbread was okay, sauce was kinda weird but we ate it.
My kid wasn’t a fan of the spaghetti at all, we tried it thinking she was just being picky but it honestly wasn’t that great so we don’t blame her.
The ravioli with Alfredo sauce was very disappointing. No flavor whatsoever to the Alfredo sauce and I’ve had better store-bought Alfredo sauce than that.
I think our best item was the kids fries.
The items are also very pricy for being basic food with fancy names.
Our waiter was good. Never went without a refill.
Overall, we probably won’t be returning to this place until they make some changes overall. Atmosphere, the smell, pricing and the food.
