“Around 11am today I went to get gas at the Kroger fuel station in London. I walked up on a transaction that had already started so I didn’t hear the exact details of what the customer purchased etc but I think the total was close to $13.00. The lady paid in all coins. It took her quite awhile to count it all out and she apologized to him several times. I’ve used change myself many many times to pay for gas in my life but the reason for this post was because I would like to give the employee a shout out. His name was Kasey. I do not know Kasey personally but he repeatedly reassured the customer that it was no problem at all and that all money spends the same. I patiently waited until he finished counting. It warmed my heart that Kasey was so patient and kind to her. I know there are some employees out there that act like it’s the end of the world when you pay with coins. The world is a little crazy right now and times are tough. Show compassion. Be a Kasey, if you happen to know Kasey that works at Kroger please give him an air high five!“
