I was here in London, OH a couple weeks ago and was looking for food joints and didn’t see this restaurant then. I was actually looking for pizza.Stumbled across both places (Domino’s and Japanese) this time ironically. With no hesitation found out where they were located and Hours of Operation and made my way.The gentleman (owner) few moments before shift change greeted me and offered options for me. I’m a pretty big guy with a real appetite and he suggested the Scallop w/crab tuna roll and it was amazing. And check this: that was a new roll for me. 10/10 highly recommend. As you see also, I paired it with a Sapporo Beer. Such a taste bud accommodation.Kid-friendliness: Options for kids also.

Joke for a Japanese restaurant. If you want rice, that's all you get. Ordered sashimi and got nigirI. Three different types of fish. Got three pieces of one, two of another and one of the last. Ripoff. Spring rolls soaked in oil, sashimi had a dot of fish. Never again.

I enjoyed the best Bento box ever. Everything was freshly done and exceptionally tasty. The well done steak was mostly tender and juicy but next time I'll request medium rare. I orders a Reidville roll too and it was the best Sushi I've had in quite some time. I highly recommend a visit to Konnichiwa.

Wonderful little place. Prices are low, staff is great, portions are incredible and the dishes me and my husband have ordered have all been fantastic.
A small place, my wife and son enjoyed their dinners. He had a Bento Chicken Dinner and Tuna Sushi. She had Chicken Sesame Bowl.

better order way before 2 hours before they close...because they won't take your order.. and you can't puck up either...so site says they close at 9pm should say around 7:45

I am an over the road truck driver and doordashed from KONNICHIWA. It was so good. I had 2 different tempura sushi rolls and the rangoons. Thank you for the great food.

Konnichiwa Japanese Steak House is a wonderful place for hibachi and cooked products. They have good taste and seasons with big portions. The food is a bit more expensive, however, it is good amounts. There are not many servers working, however, the service is still prompt. They use a small handheld machine to order and pay, but they do take cash. It makes it a lot easier to pay, though. The ambiance is strange...there is a checkered floor and green walls, but it is still nice and cozy! I enjoyed it a lot! I am leaving a star off because, while the food is good, it doesn't taste like authentic Japanese food. I still think the food is wonderful, but it just isn't as authentic compared to other Japanese places. I still think people should try it!

I have been dining here since it opened. Today, the food caused my family and I to get food poisoning. We were ALL violently ill. I don't know what happened with the food. It tasted fine, but something had to have been bad for us all to get sick. We ordered the Mama Roll, the salmon with teriyaki roll, and the Spider Roll. I'm pretty upset about the whole thing. We won't ever go back.

I just have to say, I have been to many sushi places in the past, including the short north and high scale restaurants and this place is just amazing. Melt in your mouth sushi, amazing hibachi bowls. Exceptional service, the owner takes GREAT pride in his food and service
