Very good food and our waitress was friendly and very attentive. Its one of those places you'd pass by if you're not paying attention.

Don’t list all prices on the menu. Then double charges the prices listed online. Bait and switch! No manager on duty and the young teens left there have no clue how to fix. No one knows anything and food wasn’t even that good. Worst experience ever in my entire life. Wish I could leave no stars at all. DO NOT GO HERE! GET READY TO SPEND SOME CASH ON NOTHING! RIP OFF!!

Simple menu. Good food. Enjoyed our visit. Nice folks. Will stop in again when back down this way.

Menu has changed a lot since last year. We’ve been eating there at least once or twice a year when we go on vacation. The service was good but the food is very expensive now. For a piece of grilled chicken and one side and a drink was almost fifteen dollars. We really used to like eating there, but this will be the last time. Very disappointed.

Visiting the area for a basketball tournament and found this gem of a place. Everyone was super friendly. Filling portions for a good price and the food was delicious, too!

Used to be great but has been getting progressively worse for years. The staff has always been good, but the food quality just isn't that great anymore. The subs from the Speedway like 10 minutes away are much better and don't cost as much.

Heard about Melissa’s kitchen online so I had to check it out. Drove all the way from wisconsin and it didn’t disappoint. Fast service, good coffee and delicious food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very friendly staff in small town, small homey restaurant. Food was fresh and tasty. Very close to Salt Fork State Park.

Staff was very friendly and courteous. If the food had been as inviting as the hospitality, this would have been a 5 star review. However…My wife ordered the tuna noodle casserole, and I ordered the liver and onions, with a side of tomato basil soup. Both entrees were meh. Not horrible, but not great. just like mom used to make, and not in a good way. The casserole was very bland, the texas toast that came with it was saturated with grease (MAYBE it was butter-we couldn’t tell). The liver was dry (the onions were tasty), and the mashed potatoes were EXACTLY that… mashed, boiled potatoes. No milk, no butter, just slightly mashed potatoes. I like lumps in my mashed potatoes, but this was ALL lumps. The instant brown gravy smothering them made them edible. The tomato soup was a valiant attempt, with lots of basil, but not much tomato flavor. The dinner rolls were wonderful, and like I said, the staff and service was great.Considering this is the only restaurant within several miles, you could do worse, but we’ll make the drive to somewhere else next time.
