I ate here on Wednesday, 4 Feb. for my birthday. Ordered the Club sandwich. Now I've had club sandwiches from all over and I have to say this one was the BEST I've ever tried. Paired with the homemade chips just made it incredible. And the server (I wish I could remember her name) was incredible as well. Very attentive and polite, and a delight to talk with. We will be back again. Thank you to a wonderful staff.
Cool little place with a lively vibe. The food is GREAT. Truly great. Highly recommended!

The food was great. Clever, creative. Service was also very, very good. Drinks were great. The atmosphere was pleasant, not fancy, but nice. Prices were on the higher side, but we will definitely go again.

My second visit to Black Fork Bistro. I had the fried chicken sandwich with the house-made chips. Delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the house-made slaw that comes with it is super! I put the slaw on my sandwich! đ
The aoli on the sandwich is the perfect addition. I also had the creme brulee. Perfect ending to a super meal! Be sure you look around...you might just see the Sasquatch!

Me and my wife decided to try out this restaurant while in town yesterday and let me say WOW!! We absolutely loved the food. They had unique and plenty of different dishes for whatever youâre in the mood for. Theyâre all decked out for Christmas, the atmosphere was very cozy and comfortable. The service was phenomenal as well, they were on a short wait when we came but the hostess was very sweet and helpful, she got us in way before that time. Our server was on top of all of our needs, my wife is gluten free and she reassured her that we have plenty of gluten free options. She got their gluten free pasta and said she LOVED IT! This has became a new favorite restaurant added to our list!! We will be coming back!!

Are you serious right now. That what I said I I took my first bite into my steak and eggs. Melt in your mouth not in your hand steak that was cooked perfectly. You can never be disappointed with how phenomenanananana the food is.

Want to love this place but have been disappointed
more each time we goâŚBetween the long wait times for a table, staff that seems annoyed by customers and lack luster food. Food is overpriced for what you get. Wish loudonville had other options, I feel like people come here because itâs the only option in town other than pizza not because itâs fantastic. The owners also do not staff appropriately for the busy times so poor waitressesâ are constantly apologizing for things out of their control like cold food, long wait times. Felt bad for themâŚ

My boyfriend and I can't say enough about this cute Lil bistro with out of this world flavors and amazing staff. From the front door to the owner everyone was so nice and so helpful. The whole restaurant was decorated for Christmas and was so beautiful. Our drinks were so tasty. I had the bad santa đ and he had the pistachio martini. Our fried green tomato app was to die for! We split two meals the burger of the month and the creole salmon and grits. We both loved them so much â¤ď¸ We cant wait to come back.

Stopped in last night for dinner with my husband and loved everything. We sat upstairs and really enjoyed the Christmas decorations. The bathrooms are adorable, the wallpaper is awesome. My husband got the burger of the month and I got the salmon bowl. Very friendly staff despite being so busy! We will be returning!!

We went to Loudonville this weekend for Christkindlmarkt and decided to stop at Black Fork. We got seated and everything was great!! We enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and holiday drinks! There was a table nearby that was causing disruption to our dining experience sadly. You can see their review not too far from this one, and as customers that were nearby themâŚ.that wasnât what happened. We watched the owner come over and tried to diffuse the situation after their server seemed upset. After they left, the owner apologized to us for their disruption and was very kind. We highly respect the owner for standing up for their employees! We will be back and canât wait to try the specials!!!!

Saw gluten free options and decided to try for date night...Burger patty was good. No dedicated fryer. They said we could substitute a side so we got a salad instead of the chips. Was not told that was a $6 upcharge. Also, ordered a second side salad and it was only $5 for same size salad... Doesn't make sense. Gluten free bun crumbled apart, no pickle on the side, cole slaw was unique, no condiments offered, waitress never checked on us until she bought the food. Upstairs dining area was really cold. Again, at least the burger patty itself was good. Only cutlery given was an actual black fork!

Sadly I have to report tonight will be the ABSOLUTE last time I patronage Black Fork. We have known for quite a long time they struggle with timely service but the food is worth the wait. However tonight when we ordered 2 bowls of soup and ONLY 1 cup was served and it was just okay, we were notified that they had run out of the soup. Still no big deal. But when we were getting our checks we asked the server to be sure we ONLY got charged for the cup and not 2 bowls, she sharply replied âwell we ran outâ, she then walked away and refused to deal with us and sent another server to hand us our bills, which 1 still had a whole bowl not a cup. We asked to speak to a manager and instead the owner came over and was abrupt and rude and refused to even listen or hear what our request was and we were perplexed as to why the server was upset and went missing.
The owner was more concerned about her employees feelings than our potential over charge and our request to have it reviewed.
She then refused to talk and requested us to leave abruptly BUT NOT before her husband and 3 other male staff members came table side in an attempt to intimidate our group and the mini man cook came out threatening to do harm as he was not going to let people talk about his employees blah blah blah.
The simple fact that an owner was NOT CARING enough to at LEAST listen without talking to her customer shows her/their lack of really caring about the customer experience. My entire party of 6 are still wondering what actually happened and why, apparently we are not allowed to question a potential overcharge. Well they will never get my business and I will do my research and if they own anything else I will avoid them like the plague. There is no excuse for an owner and her team of employees to treat customers in a threatening or intimidating manner.
I have been there 3 times and the food has been very good each time. The first time they made me a very good old fashion, as this is my go to when I have a nice dinner. The next 2 times I tried a total of 4 of their custom drinks and found them to be unbalanced and a little nauseating. I asked for a simple dirty martini and was told they don't carry vermouth or bitters and have no plan on doing so. Anyway I wish they would rethink their bar menu!
