Expected better food flavors given location and prices. Nothing was bad but nothing was leaving me wanting more. We came for breakfast and I had the avocado toast and the avocado tasted like paste you buy in packet from the store. Not many good kid options.
Very nice place secluded quiet staff was amazing l bit of a hike to restaurant so be prepared
Great food! Tried 3 different dishes. The schnitzel, Tomahawk pork chop and NY Strip steak. All 3 were fantastic. Would probably go Tomahawk again as it was cooked perfect. For the theme and environment I'd go with the schnitzel.
Absolutely amazing food and good people all around ! Definitely worth the trip 👌
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to!! Absolutely stunning setting, the interior was unique, kind service and great food. If we lived closer we’d go all the time!
Emma, Rachel, Kenzie are very nice and provide excellent service!!
The fish & chips and the sweet corn Alfredo are excellent. Great crisp on the fish!
Took my Dad here for his 70th Birthday about a week ago. He was completely enchanted with the grounds, our server, Autumn, was wonderful and accommodating, and we were very happy with our delicious meals. We will be visiting again next time he's in town!
Emma was an amazing server. The quality of the food was outstanding and the atmosphere cannot be beat.
We had an extremely long wait to get any service. Once we ordered, it took a very long time for our food come out. The waitress did not check on us very often and did not fill our water glasses. We drove an hour and a half to dine here and were very disappointed. The appetizers were good and the soup was good. My brother ordered a Reuben and fries which were clearly under a warmer for a long time. The fries were tough and chewy and his sandwich was dry and didn't have any sauce on it. We spent a lot of money on mediocre at best and poor service. We would not recommend this place and will not be back.

First off, beverages were well made. I had the castle mule and my husband had the Johnny Appleseed. Both delicious! We ordered the charcuterie pretzel platter (great selection and we brought most of it home to continue to enjoy!) French onion soup and lobster bisque were heavenly. My partner ordered the flank steak with Gruyère and it was the highlight of the table. I ordered the salmon with miso glaze and while the glaze gave it some flavor; the salon itself lacked any seasoning. Services was outstanding and we will definitely return when in the area!
Great food on the lovely patio! Worth the drive from Kent because of the beautiful Ohio countryside and the forest. Definitely will return.
Most of the food at the buffet was canned food, or pre-made frozen food that was heated. The priced charged for the food, more in line with what I'd pay for food that was actually prepared, not heat-n-serve. And if the food was not canned, pre-made, a new staff in the kitchen is in order.
Good food, service and atmosphere. A little difficulties keeping food and plates at the service line.
Our first time eating here even though we live 15 minutes away. The food was definitely above the level of bar or pub food, I had the short rib dinner and it was very good with delicious grilled asparagus on the side. However, what made this a great place to eat was our waitress and the other staff at the restaurant. The entire staff from the minute we arrived until we left were attentive, fast and jocular. We had such a great time there that we are adding this to our regular restaurants that we go to.
