Fantastic dinner and experience! Great value and unique and fun ambiance! We would absolutely return!
My daughter wanted this for her birthday meal. She and myself ordered steak well done, came out pink. Sent it back. After 30 minutes of waiting for the send back asked for manager. No manager on site. Finally got steaks back. They were just ok. Daughters boyfriend said chicken Alfredo had no flavor. Husband said weinerschnizel was just ok. Server/bartender comped whole meal. Will not ne back.
They were out of some items which was a bummer, but the food we ordered was very mediocre. Perogies were deep fried and tough. Cauliflower wings were deep fried and just ok. The steak was super chewy and tough. The French onion soup was pretty good! The Cesar salad was decent. Kids chicken tenders were also just ok. Service was subpar - she only checked on us twice. The restaurant was decorated nicely for Christmas but a lot of the empty tables needed cleaned. The food also took a long time to get to us, and they weren't busy.
When we arrived the power was off so the staff did the best they could in the circumstances. Eventually generator was up and running. Our food was excellent. .
Location, venue, and food were all excellent. Unfortunately we had a waitress who kept disappearing.
We had a great experience for dinner on our 46th anniversary! Our waitress was so nice and very attentive. The food was as just as we'd hoped, very good. It had just snowed so the lights on the property were even prettier and we appreciated that someone was already attending to the walkways. One of our favorite places to go for special occasions!
Great food and impeccable service without being pretentious.

Found this place by happy accident. We had another restaurant in mind and found it was closed due to a company Christmas party. Given the previous recent reviews we were a little skeptical at first but very good they were all wrong. From appetizers to dinner to drinks all were a perfect balance. We did call ahead to check waiting times and the kind lady who answered the phone said if you come anytime before 5 it'd be guaranteed seating but weekends you're going to want a reservation if you want to avoid a wait. We went on a Thursday around 5pm so no waiting at all.
The atmosphere was really done up with Christmas lights and music and really sets the mood for fun and cozy.
I really wish we got our servers name, she checked in often and made sure every thing was cooked to taste.

I didn't say anything while I was there, because it was our anniversary and my husband's idea to go to The Copper Mug, Bar and Grille. But, I do have to say that I was disappointed in the whole experience. To start, we were constantly fighting gnats from the time we sat down until we left. I suggested to my husband that we ask for another table and he said they would probably follow us. With all the pictures they have online, I thought for sure that the restaurant was inside the castle. It is not. The ambience was not what I was expecting at all. The restaurant actually looks like a diner inside and out. It doesn't even remind me of a bar & grill. I expected the meal to be expensive and it was. However, the meal overall; in my opinion, did not fit the price. All in all, I am pretty sure we won't go back.

Overall the food and drinks were very good. Both of our dishes were a little heavy on the sauce/gravy but the flavor was good. There were gnats flying around at both meals we ate there so that was a bit annoying and concerning but I would go back for sure!
We visited the Copper Mug Bar & Grille at Landoll's Mohican Castle and had such a great experience! We went for dinner on Halloween night, which was super fun — they had a festive drink menu and such a warm, lively atmosphere. The service was absolutely outstanding — every person we interacted with was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food was delicious both times we went (we came back for breakfast a couple days later because we enjoyed it so much!). The menu had great variety and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The only small downside was that the ambience, while charming and full of character, was a bit dusty with all the knick-knacks on the walls, and there were a few fruit flies around. Still, that's a very minor note — overall, we were blown away by the hospitality and quality here. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
Service was awful. Took an hour and a half to get bread and an hour forty five to get dinner. Food was ok but wouldn't go back based off experience
We had a reservation for lunch at noon for 9. Our server did an outstanding job and the food was delicious. 7 of our party had never been here before and were very impressed with the entire property and ambience. Keep up the great work!
Food delicious and nice variety. Not super expensive. Casual but charming dining room. Very friendly server. Fantastic dessert selection.
