Chilango is one of those most wonderful of places that seems unassuming or uninteresting on first glance, but that's because they put all their effort into their food. They have limited time frames for dining in, and often will sell out of their food. And I would not have it any other way. Everything is fresh and delicious, and is always the highlight of my day when I get some of their tacos. Especially if I'm pairing it with one of their house margaritas, which I personally rate among the best of the type in the Cincinnati area.

Listen to me. This place is incredible. The food is absolute top tier Mexican food. Ingredients are always fresh and the recipes are so tasty. My family and I order from here a couple times a month and it is always a hit. I have had pretty much every taco at this point but my personal favorite is the braised beef. Whatever they are marinating that meat in is from another world. The rice is also the best Mexican style rice I have ever had. Taste and texture are always on point. I can't say enough good things about this place, seriously.

I kept hearing about this place but every time I drove by it seemed like they were closed. Turns out, they’re mainly a carryout. I think you can dine in for lunch. Let me tell you! I really enjoy a good Mexican meal. This is one of the best, fresh food, Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is very good and very consistent! I encourage you to try this place.

My favorite Taco place in Cincinnati. Friendly, fast service. I've tried everything on the menu and they are all bangers. Braised Beef, Chorizo and Pork Belly are top tier. Mainly a carryout place which is the only downside.
This is my favorite place in the area hands-down! I've been going here for years and the quality has always been incredible. You get SO much food too so it's a great value. Between my boyfriend and I, we've probably tried nearly everything on the menu once and it's all outstanding: the braised beef, guac, chicken tinga, esquites, pickled red onions, mahi mahi, Chilango sauce, pork belly, everything is fresh, flavorful, and the spicy stuff is *actually* spicy. The attached pic is of the carnitas street tacos, which I highly recommend!

Wanted to update since ive noticed it's been a few years. I come here because this is the only place I can find pork belly tacos. And I actually mean pork belly. Not only that they do not skim on the meat so it's worth it.

Hands down, these are THE BEST tacos and salsa I have had anywhere in the world (and I have traveled extensively). The freshness is extraordinary, and the flavor combinations are unique and perfectly balanced. The depth of flavor in the meats is noteworthy; my personal favorites are the cochinita pibil, pork belly, and braised beef tacos.
We recently moved to Southwest Florida, where there are taco shops on every corner, yet nothing compares to this place. Chilango is a true culinary gem with wonderful owners. It is always our first stop when we are back in town. Highly recommended! 🌮🌶️👌

Not a fan. I door dashed a burrito, elote, queso, and chicken street tacos. The elote was beyond salty…like dump a container of salt in salty. The tacos were moderately salty but salsa cut into it and made them edible. The queso had no taste- actually wondered if it was a flour concoction. Had family members try it all to make sure I wasn’t having a stroke and they agreed. The burrito was fine. Very disappointed since I expected greatness based on the ratings.

I used to live down the street from Chilangos and ate there quite a bit because their food is ADDICTING! Unfortunately, I live about 25 minutes away, but order their food on DoorDash whenever I have the extra money to treat myself. I have had several tacos over the years, so I’ve had their braised beef, pork, and chicken and it is ALWAYS juicy and seasoned to perfection. Their rice and beans, specifically the beans are incredible for just being rice and beans. My favorite is the elote (off the cob) SO delicious. I have never had a bad experience here, and I mean never. The food is always amazing, and when I pick up my order the staff is incredibly kind. I just love everything about this place and it is so nice to spend your hard earned money somewhere and know for a fact that it will be perfect every. 👏 single. 👏 time. 👏. Don’t even think about it, just eat here.
