This place has been a staple in Loveland for decades. Love it! Even if you're just sitting up, the drive-thru small family and place was for sale at least recently. Hopefully it sells stays open. I'm very basic going here. Chocolate shake.

A local institution, Loveland Dairy Whip is your summer soft serve destination.

While the product is good, and the service homey, the price you pay comes without much more than the soft serve.

If you stay, you dine in a parking lot. There is very limited parking. Vehicle access is tough as it's close to an intersection at the bottom of a hill on a curved road. This is a small seasonal business, so be patient with service, especially at the beginning of the season. It's cash only, so don't forget to crack open your kids piggy bank (who even carries cash these days?). And the prices are... OK, but not inexpensive.

BTW: there's a sign on the window that the current owners are ready to sell and retire. Any budding entrepreneurs out there?

Kid-friendliness: Many picnic tables with space between them. Most of them are in the shade. With grass in-between. Also pet friendly with pics of pup cups.

Needs more space for cars, parking, etc. Causes so much traffic and somehow when people go there they lose their ability to drive
