Their pulled pork is unbelievably good. Nice selection of barbecue sauce. Can't wait to go back.

Pig Candy is an absolute gem.

It’s affordable, high quality bbq. You order at the counter which is great for us with young kids.

The staff is incredibly friendly and continuously walks around to clean and ask if you need anything.

The old church is a really cool setting.

And the BBQ is delicious. We tried the brisket grilled cheese, Mac n cheese, and grits. All delicious.

Bonus points for having Alabama white.

Since it’s right off the trail, we’ll definitely be regulars in the summer.

I got the pulled pork sandwich today. It was cold and very dry. My husband had the 2 meat platter with pulled pork and sausage his pulled pork was also cold and dry. He said his sausage tasted like a store bought little red smokie. I got the Brisket to go for my son it was the only meat that tasted good. The White Chili was awesome! Not sure if I will come back

While on a road trip last weekend my girlfriend and I stopped in. I had heard great things and had read over the menu a bit before getting there. We were pleasantly surprised at the gluten free options available. Everything was exceptional and I certainly wish we lived closer so that this could become a regular spot for us.

Our first trip toto this location; we're excited to return. Food did not disappoint, Alex and the rest of the crew were kind, engaging and attentive. We've always enjoyed our pit stops on 52 when we're Riverbend Bound. Having a local spot? We stopped on our way to Heritage Bank. This opens us up for far more stops in the future! Excited for our first Brunch!

Wow. Absolutely blown away by how good literally everything our family ordered actually was (pulled pork, brisket, cheeseburger, mac and cheese, green beans, banana pudding, cornbread, red sauce, habanero sauce). Insanely cool building, fun setup, INCREDIBLE food.

For starters the name is cool. This is exactly what I want when I think of BBQ. The meat, the slaw, the bun, the sauces, the Mac n cheese..all top notch. Decent beer selection. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner has definitely made a point to his staff to really cater to the customer because they’re always coming around asking you if you need anything. This is the only bbq place I go to when I’m visiting home.

Loved our first visit. The space (in an old church) is very cool with an enclosed deck off the front that was perfectly pleasant on a warmer winter day. The brisket was tender, but the highlight was the cheddar grits. Order them and you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

The great quality of the BBQ is rivaled only to the superb staff and excellent customer service. I got the two meat platter with brisket and sausage. They let me sample the cowboy beans, and while they were really good, I was in the mood for Mac and cheese, which was also a great choice. Anyone looking for authentic BBQ and great, friendly service should give this place a try!
