This very tiny restaurant is easily over looked and it very much shouldn't be! This restaurant is very welcoming, the workers are incredibly friendly. The food is incredible and the portion sizes are just perfect enough to fill you up! The cost of the food is just perfect for the deliciousness of the dishes. So if your in the mood to try something different of good quality, go to Zab. It might not look like much from the outside but don't be deceived. This restaurant is excellent!!!

My friend and I had lunch here today and I won't be in a hurry to return. We've had lunch here before and it was good. Not today. We both ordered the Tom Kha Kai soup with chicken as a starter. My friend ordered the Pad See U and I ordered Kaeng Daeng (Red Curry) with beef. We waited awhile for our food and there was only one other table of two people in the restaurant. Then our lunch entrees came out before the soup. The soup was brought out about 5 minutes later. The soup usually has a creamy coconut flavor. Not today. It was thin and watery, very little coconut flavor and way too salty. It was so incredibly salty that neither one of us could eat it. We both tried to eat a few spoonfuls but it was so overly salty that it was impossible to get it down. We wanted to tell the server but she never came back to our table and we were unsuccessful in waving her down. My friend's Pad See U was fine, although she said it was a tad salty. My Red Curry was completely inedible. It only had a couple of pieces of beef in it and was so salty that I could not eat it. The chef there today was extremely heavy handed on the salt! Again, the server never came by our table to check on us and by the time my friend finished her food the restaurant had a few more tables filled. We placed all our dishes at the edge of the table so the server would know we were done. When she finally came by we explained to her why the soup wasn't touched and my curry was uneaten. She said, "I'm so sorry. Next time tell us when you first get the food and we can fix it." I didn't bother to explain that she never came back to our table and we tried to flag her down many times to tell her. She removed the plates and it was another 15 minutes before she brought back our checks. We weren't credited for even the uneaten soups. Although, we had not asked for anything to be removed from the bill. With other delicious Thai restaurants around the Cincinnati area there is no reason for me to ever return here.

We've been here a couple times and it's been “okay” each time. Having worked as a server myself for 10 years, it takes a lot for me to get agitated. Today was the worst. My husband and I decided to eat here this evening and had an awful experience. There were two other tables in the restaurant and it took them ten minutes to greet us at the table (while most the time, the lady at the front was sitting and doing absolutely nothing). When the guy finally came over, he gave us water, didn't ask what we would like to drink, and walked away, to which we had to wait another few minutes after that to put our order in, and that was only after he walked to the lady going nothing and told her we were ready to order. When we received our appetizer, we had to ask for the drinks we actually wanted. We both ordered pad Thai, both of which were greasy, cooked incorrectly and with the wrong spice levels in both. During the course of our meal, I watched the male server bus dishes from the other two tables he was serving in the restaurant with us AND EAT THE LEFTOVERS OFF THEIR PLATES/BOWLS AS HE WAS WALKING BACK TO THE KITCHEN. The first time it happened I was just in shock and almost didn't believe what I had just seen. And then it happened a second time... and then a THIRD time. I had my phone put waiting for it to happen a fourth time but lucky for him it didn't happen. It's safe to say we'll never be back here. Well take a drive back to eastgate where we know we'll get one great Thai and and even better experience.

Wow, that was awesome! Zab treated us like family and the food is top notch. Definitely get spring rolls and dumplings. This is our new weekend lunch spot!

New owners, modified menu but after giving it a try I think it's improved. The curry flavor was delicious and authentic. This group, like the previous, is afraid of giving too many veggies but honestly, I think the food is actually a step up. I did carry-out, relatively quick (an no styrofoam)

Very good food and service. The food was new to me and I liked it a lot. Would reccomend!

TO GO boxes are made by styrofoam which melted down to worse with a big hole in one of the box and one almost had one; while other have traces of melting. Food is definitely contaminated and when reached out, person at desk hangup calls and advise to talk to owner, where no one knows when owner would be available.

Love Zab! Whether dining there or doing carry out, they are always delicious, affordable, with great portions! I particularly love their pad thai, appetizers, curry, and their stir fry! Always good quality fresh food.

Amazing food and atmosphere. I loved the curry fried rice with chicken - very unique. The ribs as an appetizer are great as well and reasonably priced.

Food is very good, new management seems better than before. I love spice but sometimes they go overboard. Got a level 2 recently and it was pretty extreme. Drunken Noodles and Panang Curry are my go-tos
