The atmosphere is nice, small quaint little diner. The food is good. The manager "Mama D".Needs to take a refresher course on customer service. Yelling from behind the counter is not acceptable. Assuming everyone drinks coffee, not acceptable. Cleaning tables ( spraying a solution)while customers are sitting at the table, definitely unacceptable. For a few reasons.Clearly this establishment needs another waiter who is properly trained in the skill and yes it is a skill of waiting tables. because she is is unable to maintain polite/ personable demeanor with the customer in the restaurant both waiting and at tables.I read the reviews and I can see why I see many one star reviews,Message to the owner--please retrain your manager because she is costing you customers and good reviews.
My hashbowns tasted burnt, didn't look burnt. Had a burnt taste. Weird. The bacon was good, nice, thick & crispy. The scrambled eggs were good.

Was excited to go to this restaurant and try it out. But there is an older lady at the front, that made is feel super out of place being there. She walked past us 3 times without saying hi, or even acknowledging we needed a table. It wasn’t even busy. We took that a cue that we weren’t welcome… rude staff that don’t acknowledge people walking in is just money walking right out the door and I wouldn’t recommend.
Our food was outstanding. The waitress was unfriendly and quite rude. Not sure I’d return only because of her funky attitude. The cook was very pleasant.
Placed an online order for pick up, which I have done before in the past. Card was charged, got to the restaurant just to find out they were closed.Maybe you should disable your online ordering when you’re closed and adjust your hours online. Hoping a refund will be issued.
Generous portion of French Toast. I was thrilled the turkey sausage was thoroughly cooked! That can be difficult for some places, but not here! Eggs were also prepared well. Food was hot and price was right! Worth the trip.
I am always one to support small businesses, so my husband and I thought we would try it out for breakfast. We walk in, sit down and get thrown silverware, no hello or any welcome. The waitress, who we layer found out was Mama D herself, then asks if we want coffee and nothing else. I'm currently pregnant, so I did not want any. I then had to practically beg for some water to drink. As far as food goes, I'm still nauseous from the poor excuse for French toast I was served and the worst sausage links I've ever had in my life. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy, and it's a shame it takes up good real-estate along Mayfield Road.
I was excited to try out this restaurant, but was disappointed. I called on several different occasions before ordering online to ask questions about the menu. No one ever answers the phone. I ordered two Ribeye Steak breakfast meals and they were mediocre at best. The steak had no seasoning, not even salt and pepper. It tasted like it was straight out of the packaging. The eggs were fair and so was the potatoes, although they were on the colder side (we got there while the food was still being prepared). The best thing in the box was my white toast. I don't think I would go again.
Our service was very prompt and we received our orders quickly. The food was good (we ordered breakfast). The only downside was that our butter was rancid or, at best, less than fresh.

Nice clean small restaurant, Terry was our server and the cook. He was so nice and the food was very good. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. Will definitely be returning.
Diner in a strip mall. Small place, was busy but we found a booth. Steady stream of togo orders while were there. Basic offerings. Good prices, bacon was good. I would go again.

Called in a to-go order, person taking my order was very short, did not ask for my name or number. Food was done on time. Person at register seemed bothered to help me as she was chit chatting. Tossed my ticket on counter and walked away instead of handing it to me. There were a few bags on the counter and I asked which were mine and she was very rude and said both of them. (There was 3 there). Upon getting home some food was under cooked. (French toast was gooey and veggies in omelet were cold and raw). We chose this place based on reviews. Most of our food was great, but customer service was very below par.

We went there today for breakfast. This was our first visit and last. A woman came by our table, threw down our silverware and asked coffee? We later found out that it was the owner. My husband and I looked at each other and said wow! The food was nothing special. Very bland.
The food is gross, the bacon was hard and grease, the scramble eggs has bad looks and tastes, the coffee cup has a lipstick mark. The girl in the kitchen was texting while she was touching the food.
