Chuy's is my favorite restaurant chain; I moved hundreds of miles away from their footprint, so now I make a point of stopping at one whenever I'm back visiting friends or family. As far as this location is concerned, the food was excellent (as expected), the service was great, and the table spacing was nice, too. The music could've been a bit quieter, but whatever. I recommend the chicken fajitas, and be sure to get all the creamy jalapeño sauce you can take.

Some of the blandest food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I can’t even say the food tasted bad because it literally tasted like nothing. To start the night, my partner ordered a marg that tasted absolutely horrible, said it tasted spicy when nothing in the ingredient list would have signified that. Ended up getting a different flavor she liked but finished it in two sips since it was 80% ice. I ordered chicken fajitas and she ordered a chicken quesadilla. When the food came out half of the order was wrong. Instead of a “chicken quesadilla” the waiter brought a plain cheese quesadilla, then realized it was supposed to be chicken, and came back five min later with a plate of grilled chicken. All my toppings for my fajitas came out, some of them wrong from what I ordered, and then I just sat there without the actual fajita dish. The waiter came back later and asked if we needed anything else and I responded “yes, my actual meal” and he had no clue he hadn’t brought me the skillet with the meat and onions. When he finally did bring it to me I tried it and it had no flavor, no seasoning at all, so bland just like the chicken that was brought out for my partners quesadilla. The combo of horrible service and bland food will lead me to never come back. I have no clue how this place has such good reviews and was so busy tonight.

Today I met an old friend for lunch and we chose to meet in Kenwood at Chuys on Hosbrook. I wish we hadn't.I arrived first so while waiting for my friend to arrive, the greeter was on her phone. I kept looking her way, waiting for her to address me. There were no others present just she and I. When I suggested she put her phone away, so she could greet me, The first thing she said to me was, "well you had your phone out" and that was true. But I'm the customer, not the employee. She actually began disputing and I replied, "I'm Not arguing with you." Nothing professional or effective about this interaction. An embarrassment.

Food was different than el rancho. If you want a different alternative and it's got alot of Elvis stuff if your a fan.
Service was subpar our food was terrible. Very bland the server was surprised we thought nothing was spicy. My kids didn’t even think anything was spicy. My son didn’t like his beef burrito. I tried it, there was no flavor. The cheese in my cheese and steak burrito wasn’t even partially melted. It was still in chunky shreds. The taco salad was extremely basic with barely any flavor.

Service has really changed for the worse. Food is still really good.Also need more vegetarian options.More TV's in the bar area.Veggie enchilada was good. Would order it again. So was the crispy taco and enchilada combo was good; especially with the boom boom sauce.

We called ahead about a larger size table looking for somewhere to eat after a family funeral. We were treated with such kindness as they brought over appetizers and dips as soon as we were seated that they said were on the house. They checked in on us frequently and took great care of the whole party. I was very impressed with the staff and their unexpected compassion on a tough day.
