Fine food. Good wine. Smelly. For some reason the whole place smelled like sewage. The bartender relayed that “yes it always smells like this at this on the evening . We’re on a septic system “ so maybe avoid vitiating in the evening.
Nice atmosphere and that about it. Over priced for food and wine. Wine was average.
We visited on aug 23. The band was hoppin and food and wine was terrific! I was worried i would have a few beers and pass gas and embarrass myself— however after ten minutes i realized i had nothing to worry about. The smell of the septic took over the yard and suddenly no one wanted deviled eggs. Great place but bring an air freshener!!
Three of us, in our 80s, visited for the first time. We had eaten at another winery so only had wine and the olive appetizer. The chardonnay and riesling were excellent. The server was pleasant and efficient. Given its recent construction, the facility and clean and comfortable. The shockingly-large patio is easily accessed from the parking lot but one has to ascend several steps to get to the indoor dining room.
Baci is hands down one of the best spots in GOTL. Despite some of the negative reviews floating around — let’s be real, it’s 2025… not accepting cash isn’t the end of the world, it’s just the way things are now. As for the people complaining about service, maybe take a little self-reflection before blaming hardworking staff. And for those claiming the food is terrible — unless you let your plate sit untouched for 20–30 minutes, there’s no way that’s true.
We came here twice in one weekend, and the food has been fresh, flavorful, and easily the best in GOTL. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is attentive, and it’s clear they care about what they’re serving. A 4.1 rating doesn’t do this place justice — hopefully more people see what we see and help give Baci the recognition it truly deserves.
It is a great day when you can relax at Baci. The outdoor bar was comfortable and service was on point. Their wine selection is all good making it hard to choose, but we always find a bottle to enjoy.
Service impeccable Wine- delicious. Cocktails- delicious. Truffle pizza…wow. The best part? Brought our pup, one of the staff memorized his name, and told the rest of the staff, and as they all passed they greeted him by name, it was so sweet and special. 10/10 on all fronts.
Gorgeous scenery, incredible wine, delicious food, and excellent service. Do yourself a favor and try this place.
First time visiting this one and we were loved the outside area. We would definitely go back.
We stopped in with other couples on a weekend trip. The wine, food and atmosphere were all amazing! We loved it so much we went back the next day. Recommend the Chardonnay and Sangiovese

I felt like everyone that worked there was like it was their first day and the Chicken Caprese(V"') was awful the chicken was dry and tasted bad and there was no pesto on in my french loaf and about a half hour after eating only a third of it I was sick to my stomach the rest of the day, very disappointing , especially coming all the way there from Mass The vineyard itself was beautiful and my wine was great
We stopped at Baci yesterday and the atmosphere was great! Beautiful inside and out. We loved the Sweet Riesling and we will definitely be back for that and to try the food!
Love this winery. Excellent wines, love the Bello Roso, and the ambiance
This place should be called..."if you want Arby's because you don't get your food" winery, than you're at the right place. We've been here twice and literally BOTH times, only one of us got our food. Baci is by far the worst of the wineries in Madison. The place might be modern and hip but there seems to always be a mix up. Less than 1 star if it was possible.
It is actually pretty good with some awesome wine. Their food was quite excellent and their facilities was actually pretty modern. Only criticism I have is that their space seems to be quite limited for the evening rushes that all the wineries in the areas get. We ended up getting Be-boped between both buildings until they finally could figure out where to seat us.
Their pizza was good, and appetizers were very tasty.
