“Kay Jack has the best pizza in Lake County”. This is something I regularly say when asked about this place, however, the statement isn’t fair. Lake County doesn’t set the bar very high for food in general, let alone pizza. Mostly what you’ll find here is corporate chains. Kay Jack deserves better than to be compared to other pizza joints in Lake County. I would put Kay Jacks against ANY other pizza joints in the state. It is… truly exceptional pizza. It’s not just “good” by the standard of a “Madisonite” who’s never left Lake County. It’s objectively good and could comfortably stand with pizzas from Little Italy downtown.
The dough is homemade and hand rolled. If you can’t “just tell” by the flavor and texture, walk inside and at any given time there’ll be someone rolling dough. The sauce has a tang, a slight spice and hint of sweet. The cheese is real, not that plastic crap you get from somewhere like Zeppe’s.
Overall, im deeply grateful for Kay Jack saving Lake County from mediocrity. In a world of Domino’s, always be a Kay Jack.

Their pizza is fantastic! I also love their pepperoni rolls. The entire menu is great, and their service is excellent. They have easy online ordering and great notifications to let you know when your order is ready for pickup. The prices are reasonable, and the ingredients are fresh!

I highly recommend Kay jack pizza. We eat here regularly. Love their cheese steak pizza and their hand stretched with cupping pepperoni and sweet red sauce. The steak on their pizza is real chunks of meat with delicious cheese sauce. Yum!

We had just come into town on a visit and wanted to get a pizza. Kay Jack popped up as an option so we called to place an order of three pizzas. Little did we know that they were closing in ten minutes, but they still took out order of specialty pizzas. They were all so delicious, hot, soft and they do not skimp on the ingredients. I give them two thumbs up for quality and customer service!
