If you’re like me, you go to McDonald’s, you eat a burger, and you feel gross. Disgusted even. Knowing you ate some processed junk, but your body knows it too. Your tastebuds. Your insides. I went here, and thought ‘eh, what’s the worst that could happen?’ It’s not that the food was tainted or anything - it was fresh. It was fine. It just tasted….like diner food, but worse. I had a Mary’s classic. A burger with two patties, lettuce, special sauce….a Big Mac basically. Except honestly? A Big Mac is better. And I hate McDonald’s. The patties here were MAYBE 1/4” thick. The buns were toasted but tasted like the grease off an extra sloppy sunny side up egg. The bread itself seemed less ‘fresh’ and more like that bread you get from the store that’s in a bag and has a shelf life of 6 months. It always FEELS fresh, but the taste? Ha! I asked for onion rings and got fries - which were decent, but they’re always the same fries everywhere. Ultimately the food was 4/10. The service was super nice and cheerful, and would have been flawless except the server asked ‘and fries are okay?’ And I said ‘actually could we do onion rings?’ And she said ‘absolutely!’. Considering there were a total of 4 other people in the entire restaurant, it wasn’t a busy thing….she just forgot? But meh. Super cozy spot, food is diner food but sadly, I wish I’d chosen McDonald’s.

I went here for dinner for the first time in a few years, and I’ve noticed a change im quality. The food is still delicious, but the portions are smaller. Milkshakes used to come out in tall glass cups with an extra tin cup holding the leftover milkshake you could use to refill your glass. Now, glasses are plastic, it’s more whipped cream than milkshake, and it doesn’t come with the extra tin cup anymore. I also ordered the fresh chicken tenders, which were of course still delicious, but considerably smaller. They use to be three long, meaty tenders that came with a dipping sauce (and your two sides, which is still the same), but I received two small, round cutlets with no dipping sauce offered. I understand that inflation is an issue and things are more expensive, it’s just sad to see them cut corners and fall from how good it used to be. I hope it was just a case of bad luck and not the norm for most customers.

We decided to stop in for a quick breakfast before running errands and it was not busy. I ordered Pancakes, hash browns, bacon, eggs. The pancakes were cold, the hash browns and bacon were visibly undercooked so I asked them to be cooked longer. They brought them back after a considerable time burnt. On top of all of that it caused severe upset stomach. Will not be visiting again anytime soon at least not for breakfast!

My husband and I stopped at Mary's last Sunday before heading to a couple of the local wineries. WOW, we were absolutely blown away. This establishment is very clean, the wait staff is extremely friendly and the food was awesome. My husband had an omelet and I had one of their chicken sandwiches (absolutely delicious). Ron (the host with the most) was so nice and he even sat down and chatted with us for a few minutes. This place is a well-oiled machine and we can't wait to go back in early December.

Friendliest staff ever!!! We were greeted with a big smile and a warm vibe. Even tho they were busy they seated us right away and made us feel right at home. They had a good sized menu and everything looked so good. Our food came out quickly and was all cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed our time here. Well worth checking out if your in the area.

This is everything a diner should be. From the decor, to the staff, to the food, if you want the classic diner feel and soul filling down-home diner cooking, this is the place. Hands down. 15/10. Wait staff was attentive, kind, and genuinely happy for our group of six 30-something moms on a bachelorette weekend stop in our our way home. It was the perfect end to a great weekend.
Absolutely loved it! My boyfriend and I went here just on a whim while we were in town. He got the Buffalo Mac and Cheese and I got the Country Fried Steak with sausage gravy. Hands down one of the best meals we have had out of town. Great way to start a little romantic getaway
