Adorable little diner and stellar service! We went in for breakfast with 5 of us and they had everything out in what felt like minutes! Do yourself a favor and get the Pierogi bowl!
It can't get any better. Mary's diner was awesome. The gentleman host was super friendly and our waitress was the best. My pierogi bowl was excellent. First time sausage gravy try for me and I enjoyed it.
Great old school diner! Very clean, yummy food and kind staff. Ron and Tammie were incredibly nice and checked on us regularly.
Do not get the all you can eat fish. It is so thin it's seems to be only breading and grease.
Food and service was great! Give it a try !
If in Madison OH, stop and see Ron at Mary’s Diner. We are from out of town and he welcomed us as if he had known us for years. Great place, great food, great price. Thank you Ron.
Good food, plentiful servings, very 50's and 60's like inside. Active visible owner. Check out their menu, some unique creations not offered everwhere.
Stopped for lunch on Feb. 18th. There was a very heavy oder of grease in the air. Need to improve the hood vent and fans in the kitchen. Food was "ok" and the prices were reasonable except a cup of tea was $3.49 with no refill offered. We will go to the Madison Family Restaurant in the future. The server Lisa was friendly and efficient.
Best breakfast I’ve had in a while the service was phenomenal and the food even better 😊 Ron especially was sure to make sure we were alright and never needed nothing will be coming back 10 outta 5 stars thanks Mary’s diner

Mary’s Diner in Madison, OH, is a classic diner experience done well. From the retro vibes to the quick, friendly service, it feels like stepping back in time to when diners were the heart of comfort food.
I kicked off my meal with a cup of broccoli cheese soup, which was delivered to the table almost immediately. It was thick, creamy, and packed with cheesy goodness—a definite highlight that sets the tone for the meal. For the main course, I went with the Open-Faced Hot Turkey Sandwich. The turkey was tender and juicy, blanketed with savory gravy that hit all the right notes. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade—just the way I like them—with a few lumps for authenticity.
This was my second visit to a Mary’s Diner, and both locations impressed me. With hearty food, quick service, and spotless surroundings, it’s an easy favorite.
