These folks passionately know wine making and we enjoy talking to them. We learn something everytime we go. Their wine is very very good. They have won many awards! The property and house are very clean and nice. We love coming here. Its quiet and very serene property and we love sitting outside in the woods and being in the vineyards. Inside is very nice and has plenty of seating.

He will guide you through your tasting and help you discover what you like, because your palate is yours alone. You can either learn about your palate on inferior wine, or you can do that with the wines of Silver Crest.

This is an Ohio winery, but it does NOT drink like it is! I hate to say I’m snooty about wine, but I am. This place is everything I’ve ever wanted out of an Ohio winery. The Cab Franc made me emotional - Literally! The Rosé is old world style, and hits. The Cabernet Sauvignon (particularly the Schubert-Ferney) is old world style, and splendid! This is, hands down, my favorite winery.

A relaxed, welcoming place with great service and quality reds. We also loved their half dry Riesling!
