I grew up in Cincinnati but have lived in Colorado for over 30 years now. One of my favorite things to do when I come home to visit is to have Skyline Chili. Last week, I came to this Skyline (I believe for the furst time) to have dinner with my folks. While there, I inquired about the t-shirts that they were selling. Ruthie (the gm) overheard our conversation and came over to offer assistance. She recommended two locations that may be able to help me, as her location did not have my size. She was very helpful and stayed talking to us for a bit. This table visit is an example of the old fashioned friendliness and hospitality that you rarely see anymore. After I left, I was successful at finding a shirt in my size at one of the locations that Ruthie had recommended. Not wanting to let her assistance go by un-thanked, I returned a few days later to have lunch and let Ruthie know that, thanks to her, I had luck finding a shirt. This time I was dining alone. Skylar was my server. She was very attentive and served me quickly and efficiently. I was able to again speak with Ruthie and I thanked her for her assistance. Might I add that the chili was exceptional. While dining, I noted how all of the employees were working hard and tending to the restaurant's needs. This seems to be a very well run Skyline, and I intend to return on my future visits. Thank you to the Landen Skyline team! Keep up the excellence! See you when I return!

Do not go to the drive through I paid $9.50 for an empty plate and one packet of hot sauce. Terrible . I called in to complain what a rip off very stingy and clueless

We came here yesterday for chili week and got some cheese coney’s. We politely asked the guy manager if we could please have heavy cheese on the coney’s. This is something most locations will do or have done in years past. We proceeded to get the coney’s and there were barely any cheese on them at all. For $3 each its just ridiculous. This is not what most people grew up on. And It’s no wonder some of these chili locations are going downhill and losing business. I remember as a kid coney’s were STACKED with cheese, and that’s what we went there for. Our eyes would LIGHT up with the sight of all the cheese. I get prices have gone up but people come for the cheese. Now there is barely any cheese on them and they nickel dime you if you want it like what you grew up on (and what made these places what they are). It’s all about the bottom dollar now. The truth that some of these places fail to see is if you bring back the NOSTALGIA of these type of places that made them who they are, and what people grew up on, then you will create more business by doing that rather than by nickel and diming people. I guarantee you people will come back in droves if you do that. So bring back the cheese! Bring back the nostalgia! Make kids eyes light up again! I promise you it will be worth it. Just my .02 cents
Our service was great! The server was quick, helpful, and kind. Loved our Ohio chill dogs. An excellent stop for a quick bite.
