Very kid-friendly. Has three levels, and outdoor seating right on the water. Food is delicious and service was great . Very reasonable prices for food and drinks.
Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly and they have a kids menu even though this a bar and grille.
Beautiful day and pizza was good . However, potato skins and service bad! Waitress was great but NEVER came to table! I’m still cooking the potatoes at home and still having trouble making the edible Pizza was good but all in all only the river saved the day

Waitress took forever to come out. Asked for waters, took forever. Waters all had floaters. Had to waive down another waitress to bring more water. New waters had floaters. Waitress finally came out for food order. Food took awhile; 2 in our party didn't get their order. No waitress in site; had to track her down to ask about food. "Oh, they probably just didn't make it yet.". Waitress never came back. Manager just apologized, no attempt to make it right. Food was great though, as was the atmosphere.

Nice location on the Little Miami River. Food was decent. Unfortunately all the water cups for our party of 10 had black flecks in the bottom. We asked for replacements and they were a little better but still had some particles.
8 of the 10 ordered pizzas and a brisket sandwich. They came out within 10 minutes and were good. 2 of us ordered wraps. All those who got pizza were finished eating and the wraps still hadn't come out. The waitress never came back so we went to find her and ask for status on the wraps. They appeared about 5 minutes later.
We explained our disappointment to a manager who apologized but said there was nothing he could do to compensate us for the long wait and poor experience. Very disappointing because I thought this would be a good regular stop when using our Kings Island passes.

The food is so bad and expensive. Bring back the REAL food trucks, Monkey Bar! And maybe offer drinks so people don’t have to wait in a second line at a busy bar for a soda or water.

5 stars! Saturday 10/12/24. Service downstairs outside has been fabulous. Got a chance to speak with management/ Brian, and what a great experience it was, information, friendly and professional.
FYI it's "seat yourself" which can be weird if not very difficult on a busy Friday night.

I am a new employee for the monkey bar and grill and I have to say it's the best place I've worked in a long time! The kitchen is clean and well managed, the bartenders and servers are welcoming not only to customers but anyone who walks in. Management is strict but fair, keeping things moving everyday. I've never seen management that is on the floor helping more than hiding in an office. It's easy to promote and I love telling people I work here! Don't beleive me? Come see for yourself and I can make you some of our top notch food!

Over the river and through the woods, but lovely atmosphere!
Really cool place for a bite and drinks. Would definitely come back again when we are in town. Kids also loved the live music outside.
