My family(6) went there Saturday night. Order 4 meals( kids split them) and still came home with 4 boxes of leftovers. The food was all awesome and the people where very nice also. Great food and big portions. We will be back for sure.

Tried this place for the first time recently just for a change of scenery, and we will definitely be returning! Stopped in for brunch and was blown away by the portion sizes and the food quality. The breakfast bowls were awesome, as was their omelet. Some of the best sausage gravy I've had in awhile. The biggest downside was that there weren't any tables available, so we had to sit outside. We also had to wait for our toast after our main dishes had already come out.

August 29, 2025 had lunch at Waneda's and it was great! I had the special sloppy joe with cheese and my other half had a pancake with sausage it tasted the same as the original recipes.

The small town vibe and family feel of this place is comforting. The food is wonderful. Everything I had was cooked perfectly and the portions are amazing for the prices. Nothing is fancy..just good old fashioned comfort food at fair prices. The small dining area almost makes it feel like a family gathering. The friendly service seals the deal. August 18th 2025 is the day of Grand reopening, under new management. All prior bad reviews are irrelevant. The food and service are phenomenal. The prices are more than fair for the quantity and quality of food served. While every new business will have a hiccup occasionally..the new management will definitely strive to make sure you are taken care of . This diner is Americana and small town value at its finest. I will be a return customer again and again.
