I heard about the cassata and there's a large sign in window but once inside I was told only on Wed and Sat and just terrible attitude. No smile. Not friendly. Just not today! Well let's say never after how that went. No thanks.

They have the best Donuts!! And bakery! I just wish they would make more glaze donuts. They open at 7:30 by 8 the glaze donuts are always out! That’s a common flavor people would want so make more

For my birthday I received a small Cassata Cake and it was very pricey, but due to their great reputation it was ok. Once I cut into the cake it was unevenly layered and massed with strawberries and with little to none custard. We did eat some of it although very disappointed my daughter said don’t worry about it . I couldn’t. I wanted to speak to the manager to see what could be done. He was insensitive and told me to bring in the cake to evaluate it and that custard most likely set in. Evaluate what? To most likely dismiss me and my complaint. Not worth the effort nor my time. I thought Baronas was better than that due to their reputation. I just hoping this was fluke and come to some type of resolution. I won’t recommend this company and I’m sure they don’t care as the manager alluded to because of their reputation. But my photos will be shown to anyone who ask me with me saying buy at your own risk. Thank Barona for a wonderful birthday!

Treats were delicious. Workers were nice and helpful. Even the other patrons were nice. Great job Maple Heights. I know no community is perfect or without its problems, but to say i was beyoind IMPRESSED would be an understatement. I wish had more experiences like the one I had at Baraona's in Maple Heights. First time at Baraona's and first time in Maple Heights.

Great little bakery. Pick up only. Great baked goods. Cakes and pastries. You want to preorder for cakes and large purchases. All freshly my prepared. Good stuff.

They once had the best date and nut cake with whip cream frosting but last 2x I bought one for birthdays they have been horrible!! They both ended up in the garbage. Would never recommend them.

Everytime we go there, no matter what time it is, there are never any maple frosted cream sticks. They always seem to have the chocolate covered cream sticks. So wouldn't it make sense to make more of the maple frosted cream sticks? I called back and asked to speak to the manager, in the front end manager said what's the reason I said I just like to speak to the manager, she said the managers are busy I can help you with something. Very unprofessional and evasive. I explained to her they should make more of the maple frosted cream sticks and less of the chocolate ones, since more people buy the maple frosted. I think the truth of the matter is they are low on production help and don't want to make the extra product. Quality of services has went down, and I suspect Baraonas will be closed by midsummer of 2025. And the response that Tracy gave one of the reviews,"since you didn't like the cake, why didn't you bring it back", was horrible. This place will close in less than 6 months. Won't be back. Closing soon sign forthcoming.

I have been getting birthday cakes here for 50 years! everyone looks forward to having some. but I got to say the service and management has been in decline ever since covid, there Inhospitable condescending manner is very off-putting. maybe it's time to move out of Maple Hights. There decline in clientele is rubbing off on them .
