My fiance and I went here spur of the moment. They sell cupcakes and occasionally slices from what the lady at the shop said. We got red velvet with nuts, then chocolate, key lime, strawberry banana, and lemon cupcakes all without nuts. They were awesome!!! The cake is moist and the frosting is sweet but not too sweet. The service was sweet- pun intended. She was nice to talk to and welcoming. Definitely will have to go back!!

The owner should sell the recipes and leave the industry. Despite many various complaints about customer service I attempted to support her business buying her product as gifts for others. When it was time to pay I asked for 2 bags. She told me that I could only have one bag. I asked if I made them into 2 separate orders if I could have 2 bags since they were going to 2 houses, she refused. I didnāt need to buy anything and could have gone to the grocery store for cupcakes and spent less but I chose to support her instead. After paying high prices for her cupcakes I also had to pay $2.00 for a white dollartree bag that comes 3 in a pack for $1.25. No good deed goes unpunished. She needs business coaching or to just quit the business. Baking is her thing customer service is not. I doubt that I will be back. She made the sale today but will she be in business in a year losing all her customers over pennies??

Tried this place while I was patronizing another establishment and WOW! Got the strawberry banana cupcake w/walnuts and my wife saidāThis is excellent. Establishment is owned by African American women. They were extremely nice and helpful. Canāt wait to go back. Would highly recommend!!!

The strawberry banana cake is fantastic. I tried to excuse the service over the course of many visits. Iāve been a customer since her Beachwood days. I decided to leave a review because of the horrible service I just received. I called and they asked if they had any strawberry banana cake. They said no. They called me back a minute later saying yes we do. Iāll put three to the side for you. I said I was on the freeway and I had turned around to come back. I told her Iām driving. I canāt pay over the phone, but Iām on my way. I should be there in a couple of minutes. To my surprise, no cake. A complete waste of gas driving, and a sorry, well you shouldāve paid for it while youāre driving on the freeway. Sad that you do this to your customers.

I visited the red velvet on Libby rd. I was extremely extremely disgusted and disappointed. The older black woman was not interested in giving good customer service AT ALL. I wish I could rate 0 stars. She deserves -0. I showed her my receipt and still wouldnāt give me my cake. I had to show her BANK STATEMENTS. It felt like a security check for a job. Even after all that digging around for my order she still couldnāt find what she was looking for. This is why itās hard to support black businesses. Very unorganized and UNPROFESSIONAL. I would never patronize this establishment EVER AGAIN.

I ordered a cake October 3rd supposed to pick up November 27 @6:30 the lady was very adamant about coming on time! I waited almost two hours for my cake after she handed everyone else their cakes then claimed there were ātechnical difficultiesā finding my cake after me showing my receipt multiple times and her saying she remembers me ordering the cake. I honestly feel like she was being petty because I was impatient after waiting so long and constantly telling her I had to pick up someone from the airport. Didnāt even get an apology

The woman/ owner is always rude . I have supported this business many times. My cake was a day early (wrong dates on receipt and order) I had to rush to get it before close and after she called and I came she still wouldnāt give me the cake until I provided receipt . As if you didnāt just fuss at me to get the cake that my receipt says was due the next dayā¦ā¦ When I call asking if they had red velvet cake slices w nuts she rudely scolded me telling me to check the website and no they donāt have them , but I previously have purchased them so why be so harsh and rude. Cakes are wonderful, customer service from her is always horrible.
