First off, the server was excellent. Jon made our first time there a treat and experience. I wish we experienced more people like him. He was definitely a whole vibe. The food and cocktail was delicious. We envisioned coming back and what we would order. Shortly after visiting, like the announcement was made on FB while we sat there, we found out they were closing. Thankfully there is a location in Delaware, but Marion is not missing out on this gem. I'm sorry this was the first and last time I visit this location.

When time allows Amato's is one of many downtown Marion, Oh spots I enjoy having dinner. The staff is fun, down to earth, polite, helpful, and the best part is they keep my water glass full! 😊 The mixed drinks are always prepared perfectly and the craft beer is delicious. The pizza and pasta never disappoint! Highly recommend!

Friendly service and high quality ingredients. I've only been 2-3 times and each time the wait has been a little long for food (about 30-40 minutes). I don't mind at all, but if you are in a hurry it may be better to do pickup.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options. Allergy friendly.

Solid pizza choice in Marion. It can be hit or miss if the crust is cooked perfectly or slightly under done.

Like going to Amatos but it was freezing in the restaurant and our bill for 2 salads, 2 personal pizzas and 2 drinks with tip was $70. Price was too much. I am afraid their prices are driving people away

After a long day of traveling to Marion to shop, my mom, girls, and I stopped in for dinner. We have been here before and it's such a great little Italian place. I got the four cheese tortellini with mushroom sauce and it was phenomenal. We had the cheese bread and bruschetta for appetizers. My girls had pizza and my mom got the spaghetti and meatballs half order. There were clean plates all around. I highly recommend trying anything on the menu it's all so good! There was a show at the palace for Christmas so it was a little crowded towards the end of our meal.

Amato's had been recommended to me many times by different people. It did not disappoint. Was in Marion doing some shopping, so we stopped in and got a bite to eat. We had meatballs for an appetizer, very tasty. I had 4 cheese tortellini with the mushroom cream sauce. She had lobster ravioli in diavolo sauce. Both were excellent, I think next time, I would try the tortellini in the diavolo sauce. I got a wood fired pizza to go, a new one on the menu, called the Soprano. It comes with ham, capicola, peppers, and onions. Very crispy crust, delicious toppings, I definitely recommend this pizza. Overall, it was a great dining experience!

Came to Marion briefly one afternoon and randomly decided on this place. It was a nice setting and probably very busy in the evenings. Service was very slow but friendly. I got the chicken diavolo pasta and my spouse got the steak sandwich and chips. The chicken in the pasta tasted frozen, but otherwise good. The garlic bread was tasty. The steak sandwich was a bit sad. Just a steak, piece of lettuce and tomato slices. The chips were just a bag of Lays. Overall nothing to come back for. Wish it felt worth the money and time.

We were just there set there for over hour they brought our food out said it came right out of oven no way it was cold to the touch. It was my sister's and her husband's first time and they will never be returning. These boys working were unapologetic. So disappointing 😞
