I popped into this Marion restaurant for a later weekday lunch (1:30-ish) and was promptly greeted & seated as only a few other patrons were present.My waitress was both friendly and attentive making sure to suggest their burger & side specials for the day—which I had also seen on their social.Meal came out in an acceptable time frame and the burger was delicious. While my side of mac n cheese was good, my guess is that it was re-warmed which dried it out a bit.The waitress hinted to a final remaining serving of peach cobbler for dessert and, eventually, I twisted my own arm to order…and it was good.Overall, I had a good experience and have been wanting to try this place out. Try it and I think you won’t be disappointed.

Had a group of 15 at an event less than 2 miles away… I did a quick google search and found this place maybe 10 spots down the list… called to see if they could take a party of 15 about an hour later (3:30 on a Sunday afternoon)… they told us they would have a table set up for us… we got there about 10 mins early and the tables were being set up… we had quite a bit of food to order… I only got a few pics of my food and the food around me… for starters I had the special… chicken dinner and this was a steal for the amount of food for the price with 3 big pieces of chicken and sides of corn on the cob and a loaded baked potato… chicken was really good… as was the loaded baked potato… corn on the cob was standard in a good way… was covered with butter and the dish it came in kept the butter there so it could be soaked up with the whole cob… the wife got a chicken Philly with no vegetables with no veggies and she really enjoyed it… fries were good also… my youngest ordered the kids chicken and waffles and this serving was an adult serving..! Chicken was good as were the waffles and the loaded fries..! My sister ordered the loaded philly potato… a really unique dish that hit the spot along with Mac n cheese and it had the spiral pasta which was a pleasant surprise…Service was excellent and friendly..! Food came out quick and right… we tend to have large groups everywhere and we had no complaints… food all came out correct which is odd with more than 6 in a party…Location was clean

This place was amazing. The food was amazing, the service was amazing. Everyone was please with their meals!! Please don’t sleep on this place. If you’re around you need to stop in. Also kid friendly. We met the dancing TikTok chef Chris!!
The fried chicken was incredible. Our waitress Sheena was awesome!! Best service and best food we've had in a LONG time. This is definitely a hidden gem. We will be back.

First time here. Staff was friendly. Seemed like only one person was taking orders. We was there for a long time before we got our food. The pork chop was cooked perfectly. I had a choice between grilled and fried, i picked fried. It was so crispy and crunchy i loved it. The mashed potatoes are so instant that they we very solid. The gravy was good but it was very thick. The Mac and cheese was the beat I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The BBQ pulled pork was flavorful, plenty of BBQ, and delicious, and the loaded fries were cold by the time we got them. Was supposed to have bacon and cheese on them but the bacon absent. Over all: I would go back just because there was a few other items on the menu I would like to try.

It's disappointing to see how much this restaurant has gone down hill. I raved about it to my boyfriend, who had never been and then we had the worst experience. We walked in the front door, there was no visible sign that stated "Please wait to be seated" and no one around, so we sat ourselves. Eventually someone came and asked us about drinks. Service failed completely! We had to keep asking for basic things (straws, silverware, water refills). They made us feel as if we were needy when these are basic service items. The server forgot one of the appetizers and didn't put it in until after my meal was delivered. At one point we accidentally dropped a fork while a server was present. They stated, "I'll get you another one". The hostess named Precious then rudely delivered a fork, held it in front of my boyfriend's face while looking away. It was childish and rude. Some food is clearly GFS frozen items and the rest was just meh. I don't know if they are having financial issues, but their standards and quality has definitely dropped. The only thing timely about the service was when they came to get my credit card. It's a shame because the owner is a great guy who has brought great businesses to Marion.

Delicious food, huge portions. We had the Fried chicken and waffles, Po Boy and pulled pork sandwich. All were amazing. Nice roomy seating area and great server!
This restaurant should be Absolutely ashamed of the meals they presented. Cold food, Pork Cops that rivaled leather, old lettuce in the Salad that should have been discarded a week ago. When a customer asks for coffee, stake sauce etc., give the customer the respect of returning to the table and politely saying, I'm sorry I checked with the kitchen and they are completely out. The first impression should've been a give away when you had no customers and an 8 top full of dirty dishes. What a disgrace and disappointment. You make Dennys and McDonald's look like 5 star restaurants. The tip of nothing was generous to what you presented to your customers. Sorry, you need to do way better!
